wrote a review before they blocked the truth. Writing again to get the message across, this lady is very rude and unprofessional, and only cares about money. Minus what people say, but the truth is, we have many wolves in sheep clothing, and she's a perfect example.

STAY AWAY

Grenada Gold Apartments offer a unique experience for those looking for a simple tranquil hideaway or for the adventurous traveler looking to explore the Island of Grenada.

Grenada Gold’s host, Lucille, arranged a driver at the airport for transportation to our apartment. We were tired from the days travels and didn’t have any food provisions so when we arrived it was great to have some bananas (picked from the tree on the property) waiting on the countertop. 
Should we have been thirsty, there was a couple beers and a juice box in the refrigerator, very nice gesture.
Lucille was nice enough to give us a ride to a local restaurant just a few minutes’ drive, the experience at the restaurant was somewhat comical, they didn’t have most of what was on the menu; however, we did leave with something.
The following day, Lucille was gracious enough to sit down with us and provide many suggestions related to exploring the island and places to find some local eats.

A car rental is a must due to elevation and distance challenges from the property down to public transportation access. 
Grenada Gold Apartments is on the southwestern side of the island providing access to busy Grand Anse beach area via a 20 minute drive or Northbound on the Eastern side to St Andrews or St Patrick areas (1-2 hr drive) where you’ll pass through the 2nd most populated city of Grenville then onward to discover one of the oldest Rum Distillery’s or the grand history of Belmont Estate where they still produce chocolate from the islands cocoa trees……..Mmmmm.
You can explore Carenage, the historic area of St George where you find many vendors selling local treasures or venture to the Fish Market to purchase the freshest Barracuda, Halibut or other local catches, thereafter traveling north to St John and St Mark.
Several forts are worth the exploring as well.

Early morning coffee or sipping a glass of wine in the evening are perfect on the outside wraparound balcony that overlooks a majestic view of the lush mountainside that fades into the rich fertile valley below: the clouds appear to caress the mountaintop and distant views of the Atlantic Ocean certainly complete the day.

Discover Paradise in Grenada

It was our first time in Grenada and this was the perfect location to explore the island. The apartment was very spacious and clean, the kids loved the swimmingpool. The hostess was very helpful and gave useful tips about the best beach bars and restaurants to visit.

Fantasic 6 nights here! First time in Grenada and it was amazing! Loved the apartment. 5 mins away from airport and 10 mins drive away from Grande Anse beach. Good location. Very easy to move around. I visited so many places in my short stay! Highly recommend staying here if your solo, with friends or with your family!

I would definately be returning back here to stay again. 

Tips:- Visit Umbrella's by Grande Anse beach for lunch and cocktails. Its not expensive at all. Very cheap and great spot to relax after bathing in the Sun abd Sea. Also check out dodgy dock restaurant and Adrift restaurant and bar *(waterfront views)

I felt safe and welcomed in Grenada being solo. However I did have a few friend's in Grenada at the same time as me.

Will return to Grenada again for sure

Fantastic clean modern apartments. Great location

We really enjoyed our stay with Lucille and Anthony. Lucille is so helpful for suggesting things to do and where to go. The location means it is easy to explore the east coast, Grand Anse area or Fort George. You are up a hill ( the road was repaired while we were there) but this means cool breezes blow up and cool everything (we never used the air conditioning). The balcony gives you a view of the sea,the valley and the mountains. If I go back to grenada this is where I'll be staying.
