Varnevo Museum Hotel

The guest house is located at a fine spot affording beautiful views. The accommodation is elegant, relaxing and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious, with a variety of home-made delicacies.  We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend there. Christos and Yannis, thank you for your warm and friendly hospitality, your care for your guests and your great suggestions for sightseeing in the area.  We will definitely be back.

We have stayed 3 nights at this lovely hotel. we instantly felt at home with the familiarity of Christos and John. the room was clean, comfortable and contained all the necessary stuff. we had a beautifully balcony with an amazing view to the mountains. the breakfast was delicious and varied from day to day with lots of options of home maid food. the atmosphere wax always very friendly and helpful. the village was calm and lovely. we really recommend coming here!

Excellent hospitality

A lovely and intimate hotel

Very nice place and  fantastic people

I visited the hotel recently with my wife.  We had booked a suite for 2 nights.  The room was small and the ceiling of the bedroom low.  No sofa and the two chairs not comfortable to sit and enjoy the fireplace.  The bed was of cheap quality therefore we did not enjoy sleeping on it.  Very hard mattress indeed.  The bathroom was very small and basic.  The people were polite but did not know how to handle complaints.

The "suite" is not a "suite" and more

We had booked the suite via booking ( the hotel is rated 9,8) and our first impression was that the room was poor and made for short people. Furniture is old and there is no sofa, no proper toiletries, bed is not even a proper double and is the old style with the wires inside ( price sold on internet is 180 e). The feeling during sleep is that you sleep on wood... we woke up exhausted! Pillows same quality, like rocks. Photographs on booking are tricky, be aware! They tried to “save” the day bringing us the breakfast in the room but still this could not make up for the worst night sleep and the uncomfortable room.
