Convenient location, a short walk from stores, restaurants, and the (sandy) beach. A short trip by car to the ancient temple of Afea, close to the beach of Vagia. Our room and our bathroom were clean and quiet, and the staff efficient, polite and friendly. There was plentiful self-serve breakfast and the hotel bar was available long hours. A perfect place for families with kids, especially those who have small pets, since pets are welcome there. The rooftop swimming pool was popular with kids; the nearby beach is a great choice if you have young kids: the sandy bottom is also very shallow for quite a distance. We felt very lucky to have found hotel "Galini". It is very well-managed--we plan to return there soon!
