My wife got sick and was hopitalized in Trikala. I was referred to the hotel as I knew nothing about Trikala. It turned out that it was perfect for the experience. The location is right in the middle of everything, as one person described it, a little Paris. Restuarants, shops, people strolling and a river. My room was compareable (almost) to one I paid 4 times the amount for in Athens. The bed was comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was small. The staff was very friendly and caring. A number spoke English and made me feel at home. Overall, it was very positive experience under some very stressful circumstances.
