Hotel Divani Trikala

I was traveling through Trikala on the way to Meteora, and was looking for a decent place to stay for the night. I stopped to ask a local, and found myself in front of this hotel. While it was a bit dated, we found it quite sufficient for one night. I have read that people complained about the price, but for a room with three twin beds and a cot in two rooms, with two full bathrooms, I found the equivalent of $80 US a bargain. Yes, the carpet had an odd texture, but bed linens and bathrooms were very clean, the noise level was not so high considering that it was in the center of town, and the breakfast was quite sufficient. The only bad point was that the cot was quite hard, and my little boy ended up sharing a space with me.
