I've just returned from a week in Tolon staying at the Flisbos. What a lovely place. Good food, friendly staff, beautiful pool and right on the sea. One could not ask for more and I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

We spent 11 days in hotel and it was perfect.Nice,clean room with outstanding view.
Staff been always friendly and smiling all the time.Kitchen never disappoints us.We come back again,highly recommend.

I had a great week stay at this hotel. The food breakfast/dinner was very tasty (not to mention the view of the sea while eating). Many souvenir shops nearby as well as restaurants and a few stores to pick up necessary items. I had a pleasant stay.

- wasn’t the biggest fan of the food provided, but it wasn’t bad in any way
- room was large, comfortable for 4 people 
- beware of mosquitoes in the area, we all got quite bitten, nothing to do with the hotel itself though!

Small hotel with wonderfull view to seashore and islands. Quiet and comfortable. Breakfast also served in reastaurant over the beach. It would be great if hotel has own access to the beach, but even without it, our visit was great.

5 stars for the little balcony that is literally on the sea , 5 stars for the view from there and the amazing sunrise. 5 stars for the staff, helpful and friendly. 3 stars because you guys don't know what viakal is? Use it in the bathrooms , it makes miracles;) overall a very nice summer low budget hotel :)))

Beautiful holiday

Very clean hotel with great sea view and excellent service from staff.

Nice hotel with wonderfull view

Parking is great - opposite and up a small road, private and safe.
Location - on the beach so lovely views, short walk to the beach - you can't access the beach from the hotel.
Pool - you get to use the pool at Flisvos Royal across the road - really nice, good chairs, bar.
Staff - the nicest people, always helpful, happy to interact and have a joke/chat, 10 out of 10.
Breakfast - not good, low quality food.
Room - very small and cramped.
Bed - Super comfortable.
Balcony - very small, uncomfortable furniture, hard to relax out there.
The hotel is old so it has the usual things like the bathroom isn't that great, things need repairing etc.
We paid 65 euro per night with breakfast - it was probably not worth that in comparison to others we've stayed in that are better quality but I guess you have to factor in the pool and beach location.  Most hotels in Tolon are like this.

Nice location and pool, good parking

I stayed about one week ago with my family..amazing location on the beach with amazing view. The beach is awesome, crystal clear and sandy!..The Hotel is nice, clean with a very friendly stuff, the room was comfortable although I slept on a couchbed. The thing that really dissapointed me was the breakfast!! It was sooo bad..i cant understand how a greek breakfast hasnt fruits and vegetables on the buffett..very poor and bad quality..it is so easy to change that!! Greece is full of fresh healthy food..i would love to have a responce from the staff so somebody could explain me the reason for the bad quality of the breakfast.

Great view but dissapointing breakfast

Unfortunately it is the worst hotel I ever stayed. The management of the hotel doesn't exist. To begin with, before I booked this hotel I spoke with them and asked if I could stay on the 2nd or 3rd floor and I have been told I will be on the 3rd. That's why I proceed to the booking. However, I received a call after I paid the deposit and been told I will be in the second floor. Upon arrival, the room I have been allocated was on the first floor and the staff was saying that they can't guarantee a room allocation in a specific floor. Why I have been told initially I will be in the 3rd floor then??? I wouldn't pay the deposit and choose a different place if that's the policy of the hotel.

Anyway, I stayed in the first floor as I have paid already and had no option. Since the first day the noise was unbelievable! The cleaning in the rooms starts before 8am, the cleaning ladies knocking the doors and early in the morning so they can clean the room. Also, 3 TIMES as I was deep asleep and I didn't heard the knock at the door at that time in the morning the cleaning lady decided to open the door and come in the room( while I was asleep 8am and NOT ONLY ONE TIME). I complained in the reception since the first time this happened, but the answer was that they have to clean early so the can finish by 12. I WENT THERE FOR HOLIDAYS AND NOT TO WAKE UP 8AM! After I complained to the reception, the cleaning lady didn't come in the room for couple of days while I was asleep however they carry on knocking doors and shouting in the corridor at that time in the morning. After complains I moved to a different floor with a different cleaning lady, but unfortunately it was exactly the same as that cleaning lady was knocking the doors and trying to get in the room while I was asleep! I have to underline that the hotel knows if you still in the room as you have to leave the key when leaving the hotel; so I am not sure why the management is not existed in this place and the cleaning ladies waking up everyone!!! Unbelievable!!!

No comments about breakfast. No vegetarian option. No fruits! In a country with so many fresh fruits, no fruits or fresh orange juice in the breakfast. The breakfast was mainly pies and omelette. Breakfast finishing at 10.30 but by 10.00 already half of the things were finished and noone replacing them. We asked for bowls for cornflakes one day but the lady I found and asked she says everything is finished! Really??? No bowls available for cornflakes?? Do I need to bring my own plates for breakfast maybe next time???? I was happy there was a bakery and supermarket nearby and I could buy a proper coffee and some food for breakfast.

The only good thing for staying in this hotel is the sea view as it is next to the beach and the view is stunning. Other than that, if you need someone to destroy your holidays and wake you up early or enter your room while you asleep, that's the best place to stay.

Ps. Don't use the lift as the door doesn't lock properly and if you touch it earlier it will unlock and the lift will stop in a good distance from the level it is meant to stop. I'm happy I wasn't locked in the lift at least during my stay.

Disappointment! Avoid this place if your plan is to rest and enjoy your holidays!
