The room was very clean and comfortable.  The bed and pillows were perfect.  Not a great pool though. The employees were exceptional!  The walk or I should say “hike” was steep and intense down to the hotel.  It was certainly a challenge.

Sweet Sweet Sugar Pop

The hotel is not on the Caldera but only a few meters away from the main road and therefore an excellent value for money.  The caldera is a few minutes walk. A lot of car rentals close by , as well as good restaurants and cheap eats.   The reception service was excellent.  We were upgraded to a better room as there was availability which was greatly appreciated. We requested from the reception  for transportation (additional charge 35euros) from the port to the hotel. We were met on the main road and we had help taking our luggage to the hotel.  All the hotel rooms have nice views of the east part of the island.  Also for our departure we requested transportation to the airport  (30euro)  and the private van was there waiting for us. Help was provided to carry the luggage up the steps. The steps are not that many but the last  few are quite steep.  Fira  is full of steps anyway and may be part of its beauty.

Excellent service and good value for money

Excellent choice! Why?
1) That part of town is not noisy so you can sleep well.
2) It has a couple of municipality parking lots close by so you can park the car and walk to the room.
3) the building is eastern oriented. That makes it cooler in summer evenings and helps you wake up naturally in the morning so you can enjoy the rest of your day on the island.
4) the people operating the space are very polite and always helpful.
5) well price positioned in comparison to the market.

I'll be booking it upon my revisiting the island.

A good place to stay in Fira/ Santorini 

My partner and me needed a hotel just for one night in Saturday. The next day we would go to an other island by seajet.  We had a look on booking com and noticed the offers of the hotel. We went straight to the hotel to see what would be the best option/ room for us. There were a few offers on booking com with special price we had "genius status". We showed the lady on the reception the offers listed. She immediately phoned the manager of the hotel, then she had a communication via whats app. After that (2 minutes later) all the rooms of the hotels where suddenly booked, only a pricy suite was left! It's like the manager had canceled the cheap offers after the call.  We had to pay 180€ for a suite, the cheaper ones were not avaible any more! The hotel was empty that day..all very strange. The suite was not a suite like the receptionist had promised,  it was a little simple room! We were tired from the flight otherwise we would have left the place immediately. The next day we asked the receptionist for the receipt. The receptionist called the manager again and then told us, that we should leave our e mail adress so they would send us the receipt the same day. It did not happen as we had expected. Stay away from this "hotel" and these people. It's a scam! We would have given a negative review on booking com,but because we have paid in cash with no receipt, booking com did not register us as guests. It's like we have never been there. 

Totally a scam!!

Very nice hotel, refurbished. They gave us a superior room with sea view for a small surcharge. Clean rooms, very nice swimming pool, and 200 meters from the main square and all the attractions of Thira. Exceptional staff, kindly courteous. They always helped us in everything, from the advice to the possibility to use everything even beyond check-in hours to having a very late flight. If I returned to Santorini, I would undoubtedly choose Sweet Pop again

It's all great.

We had booked a room with a double bed and we had 2 twin beds attached! We asked to change rooms but no possibility! Medium bunk bed, shower with not very clean joints, shower pipe leaking! Spotted bath carpet (trace of javelin water) small balcony because c was the bazaar to close the drawers because of the table and the 2 chairs that were blocking due to lack of space, once the drawers were closed there is always a light from the entrance to the room (which does not allow for darkness, fridge is quite noisy at night, pool offered but given the size was rather a basin! In short, avoid the room! No breakfast available for parking lots 201 and stairs far enough to avoid bad weather if you get to the parking lot c

It's very convenient.

The view will depend on the room reserved / allocated. Located very close to the Fira centre and shops. Easy access from the main street. but with stairs in the street. (there are stairs all over this city).

This is a great stay.

Really decent accomodation. Close to the town centre and peaceful as set just down some steps from the main road. Reception staff were really friendly and the room was cleaned to a high standard each day :)

Really solid hotel 10/10

Stayed at Sweep Pop first week of September for a full week. The hotel location is ideal, right in the centre of Fira but not too close to the liveliest area, so that you enjoy your room and relax. The place is a real gem. Room and communal areas are extremely well cleaned. We had a wonderful room with sea view with a nice sized bathroom and plenty of storage space.
Personnel at the reception is very friendly and helpful, with plenty of good info on local attractions, bars and restaurants. They are happy to do the reservation for you if you prefer.
There is also a small swimming pool, particularly useful of very hot days or on your last day, while you wait for your flight. We could even order cappuccinos and sandwiches delivered straight to the swimming pool!! 10 out 10 for Sweet Pop!

Fantastic stay at Sweet Pop Fira

Excellent hotel to stay in Santorini's right price. The situation is perfect as it is in a quiet area but a two-minute walk from the very centre of Fira. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped with a great shower and great mattresses. It has a small swimming pool that you can use even after check-out if you have an afternoon flight/ferry. Special mention of the kindness of the reception girls. I forgot my wallet in a bakery in Fira and they took care to retrieve it so that my documentation would not fall into other hands. In addition, they left us with a shower after check-out so that we could catch the flight from the beach. Very friendly and willing to help in everything. They also facilitated the rental of a scooter at a good price through a discount agency.
