Ira Apartments

We stayed here in July for 5 nights. The hotel is a 10/15 min walk to the beach and the main strip in Kamari and it’s about 5 mins to the outdoor cinema. I was there with my two sons (12 and 17) and we used to walk back between midnight and 2am most nights (the karaoke bar on the strip is so much fun) and we always felt safe. The rooms are typical Greek style. Quite simple but spacious with aircon and a good hot shower and the beds are comfy. The pool area is really nice and was very relaxed when we were there. You can buy drinks and snacks from the pool bar, I’d just suggest picking up your breakfast the night before from one of the supermarkets that are open until about 2am near the beach. The owner is really helpful. I WhatsApp’d him before we arrived as we needed to go straight to the Irish bar to watch a football game and he dropped us off as soon as we’d checked in. He can also arrange a taxi to and from the airport. You can get a bus but you have to change buses and then walk 15 mins with suitcases, so I’d recommend pay for the taxi.
