The hotel was very conveniently located near bus station, had clean and comfortable rooms, and staff were very kind. Just sad I had to leave early and not try the breakfast because it looked like an amazing array of options!

Thanks to the very helpful staff, we were able to discover Thessaloniki effectively in just a day and a half, seeing most of the important points in the area. Our room was beautiful and clean. The hotel is very close to the center, where the restaurants and promenade are located. I highly recommend this place.

Good breakfast,great room,staff helpful,but noises in the morning if you have the ground floor room.

Clean, efficient, minimalist hotel. Good beds and showers, quality linens, large windows that can open and with good curtains. This place is great value quiet area at night, but walkable to center and also convenient for buses. There is a bakery one block down that has good spinach pies and coffee.

This is a really nice hotel! The bed was very comfortable, the water pressure/temperature in the shower was nice, and the breakfast had a lot of options. There is a parking garage just down the street from the hotel that we used (6 euro per day) that worked well.

The hotel is newly renovated and has all the needed amenities (new and functional). It is located in a more run own area of the city (although seems like this is an up and coming).  It is close enough to most attractions (walking distance to many UNESCO sites) and downtown.  Breakfast was basic and plentiful

Nice newish and clean room which was cleaned by request only – when requested, it was cleaned. Ac was good and rooms were quiet. Breakfast was not great, but ok-good. The area was not the prettiest, a bit rough, but calm and peaceful still. Overall a smooth experience, definitely value for the money.

A calm and easy stay

Nice clean room and friendly stafff.left my bag at reception last day  and collected that evening.receptionist told me I had left bottle of water in my bad as my bag was wet.i know I didn’t as I had no water left in the room and wouldn’t pack a water bottle in my bag that would be going through airport security.i had bought a white blouse and two new jeans and everything in my bag was completely soaked.I opened the bag in front of her and said please show me the water bottle .Obviously something spilled all over my bag while it was in storage room .if they had admitted it and apologised that would be okay  but  to say it was my fault was really bad form.

Nice stay

The hosts were friendly and kind. They took ever effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The room was clean and large and the bed very comfortable. My husband had two broken legs and the establishment did everything they could to make our stay a pleasant one. The location is centeral and appart from the temporary road works in the area making access a little difficult the hotel is well positioned. Highly recommended. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Very pleasant stay and handicap friendly

Very welcoming and helpful staff especially Giorgio (George) over our two day stay. Good tv. Very comfortable room and bed. Central, walkable location to restaurants, banking, shopping and cultural sites. Excellent complete breakfast served in pleasant surroundings. Much appreciated COVID-19 response to protect staff, clients and visitors. Quiet area yet very close and walkable to central city and all amenities there.

Quiet, comfortable, central and helpful

For travellers:the grand port suites hotel is located about 7 mins walking distance from the thessaloniki train station. You can come & go to the airport in the 01x bus from the zografou bus stop also about 8 mins walk from the hotel.As for the hotel:it is located in a popular area not far from the center(30 mins} walk. But in a street with tires shops and repairs. This is not an issue.  The room was good and clean. Breakfast was great with varieties. Staff is very helpful and immediate responsive. We stayed 2 nights. Thank you

This was one of the best hotel stays I had for an overnight stay. An excellent check in! I arrived late and the reception provided me with hot water for some tea.The room was very modern, clean and well furnished.Breakfast was ample with great smiley staff!I have rebooked for my family who will travel through Thessaloniki and I will definitely stay again!

Hidden gem in Thessaloniki

Brand new hotel, so everything was gleaming. The room was nice though very small. The shower had a glass door which only covered half the shower and so by the time you were done with the shower the floor outside the shower was all wet (and the floor towel was absoluteky soaking wet). There was shampoo, but no shower gel or conditioner. There is a hairdryer too. Breakfast was fine. Nice omelette and butter croissants. The staff was very friendly and polite. The area in which the hotel is located isn't very nice and though there are floor length windows at the breakfast area, the view isn't pleasing. I do think it's value for money. Over all I was quite happy.
