Friendly staff, small but good rooms. Only minus was that pillows are quite big and rather hard

The location was very convenient, everything was within walking distance. The room itself was comfortable and the hotel had kind staff members.

Wonderful team and friendly people, the hotel was clean and they were very helpful I arrived early and they gave me the room before the time. Wonderful hotel recommend it for everyone !

Very good sleep: good mattress, very clean sheets and towels, clean bathroom.  Very good location.  The staff was nice, present and attentive.  That’s a 2 stars hotel for me.  We had breakfast outside because we wanted to go through town.

Basic but clean room in walking distance of main sights of Thessalonoki.

I stayed at this hotel 4 separate times in August 2023. It is definitely a 2 star hotel, however I was very impressed by the quality of service, the cleanliness of the room, the property and the price. The rooms are dated and small. I did like the effort they made to renovate the rooms and provide us with excellent service. The breakfast is honestly very good for $5 euros, and the staff make every effort to accommodate whatever we need. It is a 2 minute walk to Artistotelous and all other sites. I will definitely stay again and would recommend it for a stay between 1 to 3 days is perfect. Thank you Hotel Pella!

Good value hotel near centre, good location for bars, tavernas and shops. 5 minutes in taxi to seafront. Taxis are cheap. "Internal rooms" actually do have a window you can open there is just no view. Room very clean just a little rough around the edges, but for 42 euros I can't complain. Staff very helpful. No shower curtain so bathroom gets wet but there is a drain and a window so it dries quickly.

Good value basic hotel. 

Hotel is a bit tired but staff were welcoming. Economic hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable, beds were great and the aircon and shower were fine. Great location for the centre of town for sightseeing and restaurants, just 10 mins walk. Biggest negative, we arrived by car and finding a parking place is just about impossible in the centre of Thessalonika. The hotel does have a couple of parking places on the main street though.

Would stay again

The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are inexpensive but clean. You can easily walk to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront from the hotel, which is awesome. The only complaint I have is that the walls are very thin, so you can hear any noisy neighbors, which I unfortunately had 2 of :(. Aside from that, Pella is a bargain stay in Thessaloniki!

Great price, location, and staff!

it’s a good location, close to a variety of busses and in walking distance to the sea. due to covid they serve breakfast on the room, no extra charge. but, it came over 30 minutes late, despite calling two times. the receptionist just didn’t understand that I expected it to arrive at the time I ordered it the day before. on the other hand, due to the late breakfast I missed the checking out timeframe by 30 minutes and she didn’t say a word.

The Pella is located in Thessaloniki’s central district, but in an area with a  definite neighborhood vibe….so a supermarket just across the street, bakeries, cafes, apartment buildings, and on a fairly quiet city street. I enjoyed all of this, and also the fact that I was just a block or two away from some major ancient and medieval archaeological sites, not to mention some beautiful old churches. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and made me feel welcome. The room was clean and tidy, nothing fancy but everything worked like a charm. I will definitely return to the Pella next time I visit Thessaloniki.

One thing I liked about the hotel is the breakfast, although you had to pay €3, it was really worth it! The rooms are decent size, not too small or too big. Its about a 20 min walk to Aristoteles square and the harbour. 

One thing is that the shower is really small, but with the price you pay it is expected. 

Overall a nice stay! Will stay there again!

Convenient!

A convenient hotel  that I have used about three times. Always helpful, clean and tidy. My only grouse is the way in which it is difficult to book well in advance. At the time of posting bookings are not open for October, which is frustrating as my next visit to the hotel will start on 30 September when a group visit ends.

Helpful and decent value

I desperately needed a room for a one night stay during the expo. As it has been a last minute booking, I did not really know what to expect, since all well known hotels were already fully booked. All in all, it's clean, cosy and offers a decent stay for an unmatched price. If they could only do something with the noise coming from the corridor...
