The room is nice if you just need a place to shower and sleep. The mattress and the pillows though were highly uncomfortable and a hair dryer was not provided. The amenities (shampoo and shower gel 2 in 1) were really low quality. Hot water 24/7.

Value for money

The hotel is a central location, quite good for short visit.The price is fair, although it could be a bit cheaper. Not expect much, but the stuff is friendly and talkative. I have stayed quite a few times in this hotel, usually for short stay of up to 3 nights.

Fair

From opening the front door you could smell a fresh and clean hotel. 24 hour reception - very safe. Cleaners very helpful and kind. Reception happily allowed me to change room. The area is fine and easy walking distance to everything. Thank You Simon

It was quite price comfort efficient. Very close to port and other central locations

Short stay

No lift, even we had private w.c, was too small. Generally the hotel is in bad condition, too old and not maintained

Not maintained

I stayed there for 5 nights and had a quite pleasant time due the good price and nice location. The building is around 100 years old and has been renovated. The staircase is full of marble and the rooms are arranged in a circle (see photos). You get shampoo and soap / toilet paper plus a fridge, tv, a/c. In case you need any kitchenware there is a room which has cutlery and plates. Very limited but you might be lucky. 

Pros:
- the price for sure.
- room size is partly very big.
- sometimes you have your own balcony.
- location (more or less in the center and 10 mins walk to the train station).
- stores just around.
- private rooms. (Backside rooms are more quiet but probably darker).
- the wifi was actually not too bad.

Cons:
- no isolation on the doors as they are old (but nice) so you can hear whats happening outside.
- the sheets are a bit too short for the beds.
- the beds are very soft.
- no elevator (in case you have troubles carrying heavy).

In general this place is certainly a recommendation as you get private rooms for a very good price in a wonderful, vintage building.

GOOD BUDGET PLACE IN AN HISTORICAL BUILDING.

I really liked how quickly they checked me in. Despite showing up 1 hour before check-in they got me situated without question or delay.The hotel is beautiful in an old historic way. That being said... they did a fantastic job of keeping it VERY clean during the CORONA VIRUS outbreak. Keep in mind this is an old hotel, and youre going to get much more than you pay for, but it is not a luxury place.

Dirty room. They had the soap from the preiious customer in the bathroom. The don;t have elevator also. Terrible

Good location close to restaurants and transport. It's an old hotel but the rooms and common bathrooms are kept quite clean. I was there 2 nights but my room was not serviced. Can be noisy being on the main road and you can hear other guests. No lift and a winding staircase to access the hotel. My biggest complaint was the smell of smoking in the rooms, I asked for a non smoking room and tried 3 but they all smelled bad, Greeks are big smokers and I guess the smell gets into everything. If you hate the smell and are sensitive to it, then best go elsewhere.
