Following multiple stays, Yiannis and his family continue to be the perfect hosts at this tranquil hidden gem.
Large and clean rooms set in a beautiful green environment. 
Parking is a major plus, along with the adjacent family bar-restaurant Deon, which serves great homemade pizzas and drinks!
Highly recommended!

Couldn't rave about House Katia more. The staff are incredibly helpful, the accommodation absolutely perfect. They went out of their way to ensure we had the perfect holiday. Kalamos is a very beautiful quiet village. Our baby daughter had the best time too! We have made many lasting memories here and made friends of the owners of House Katia.

Kalamos is a beautiful village on the edge of the sea fronted by a long, sandy beach.
House Katia has 4 studios and 2 apartments over the studios. All are air-conditioned and are  beautifully and tastefully furnished with elegant touches provided by Katia's artistry. Sitting out on the generously sized terraces and balconies is a delight.
Jannis and Katia are the perfect, unobtrusive, hosts who are always available should anything be needed or a question asked. The bar/cafe area (Cafe Deon, sorry I cannot create the correct Greek characters) is the perfect place to while away the evening into the small hours. Jannis and Katia's sons, Anestis and Dimitris, operate this haven and create delightful dishes and a huge range of liquid refreshments. We are able to offer these opinions having discovered the secret haven several years ago and have returned around 10 times. A car is almost essential to appreciate the area and providing transport for shopping and visiting local tavernas outside the environs of Kalamos,

House Katia is a small hotel very close to the seafront, where I spent a two-day relaxing holiday in August 2015. The rooms are very spacious and fully equiped with a kitchenette, double bed, bathroom and a private terrace overlooking the gardens. They also have an aircondition you might need if the weather is too hot.It is suitable if you seek to spend a calm and relaxing vacation close to the sea, either with family or friends. The beach is just in front of the house! 
Furthermore, there is a marvellous garden in the premises, with a small snack bar where you can take your breakfast in the morning, or enjoy wine or "tsipouro" (local traditional drink) during the evening, tasting homemade pizza, salads and burgers! Sometimes, events like small music concerts take place there!
The owners are very helpful and gentle, very friendly and always there to help and to show the attractions of the area (there is reaally a lot to do and see in South Pelion!), making us feel like home. A highly recommended place for holiday!
