Everything was ok. Vacation on 2019 -2 adults and 1 child 3 years old- with breakfast and lunch ( we had dinner and we switched at reception). Big rooms, good food, friendly staff. They cleaned every day and changed towels. Very close to Golden Beach. Parking spot in front of the hotel. And it was a very ok price. We liked everything at this hotel.

Awesome and cheap vacation

We stayed for 1 week in september, the hotel is located next to Golden Beach(which is the best beach of Thassos,) there is a supermarket right at the hotel, many tavernas nearby. Rooms are big, include a nice big balcony, the hotel offers towels which are changed once every 2 days together with the bedding. The restaurant offers a breakfast (same every day, but enough food to start the day) +one meal of your choice(lunch or dinner, you have to give notice in advance) you get a menu which includes 5 dishes and choose one for the next day, the food was really good. Staff very friendly, makes you feel at home. Would visit again, comfortable location and great value for money. 

Great location, good value for money

We really had a good time at Ellas Hotel. The staff is wonderful, hotel with the outdoor swimming pool really nice and this Hotel should really be 3 STAR not 2 STAR. Really recommend this for families being so close to Golden Beach. At the rear of the hotel you have  a lovely view of the mountains.

Very good

We were here one week on charter with included dinner and brekfast.. the food is very well cooked greek cusine... the family that own the hotel are very nice and helpful people and they do thimgs like giving your child a ice cream ir lollipop just to be nice.. the Guy in the pool bar helps whith everything and is very social and service minded... i Really recommend This hotel....

Nice and freindly

We chose this hotel 'cause it was close to the beach. I hoped it to be a typical greek family hotel with nice atmosphere but it was not. The medelaged woman (wife?) was the only nice and friendly one. We just felt in the way there when it came to everyone else working there. The breakfast was ok but the food (lunch,dinner) was terrible. I know what a moussaka should taste like and this was frozen and heated up. The "fresh fish" was sadely not fresh, my boyfriend that work with fresh fish had to leave that one. Its to bad 'cause i Think the hotel has potential to be really great!! And it is really close to the Beach. The town was great though and there are plenty of other places go eat:) the picture is the view from the room. The other side is better.  Take that!

Not good

Typical greek hotel. Fine premises and great staff. Food was ok. You can choose if the complementary meal should be lunch or dinner. Ouzo is free!

Air condition costs 5eur per day, but despite 34 degrees it was not needed...it got too cold.

I would come again, recommended accomodation in golden beach.
