Lovely hotel, lovely owner, rooms cleaned every day, lovely location just perfect and would highly recommend. We stayed in a room over looking the pool, was very quiet, room was basic but nice, big bed, breakfast was 8-10 food was nice, cereal, breads, bacon, eggs and local Greek cuisine. 5 minutes walk to the sea and lots of bars and restaurants highly recommend the mojito from Stello bar best on the island. We would most definitely come back.

The service here is very friendly and the food and drink here is also great. The entertainment team here is also really good, children and teenagers are having fun here too. This was an unforgettable holiday for me that was made even more unforgettable by the lack of Kaan (The Beach Volleyball Entertainer). *Slurp* :)

Hotel Miramare

I stayed with my two kids here a week in mid august. The location is in the far end of the beach and up about a minutes walk. That gives you the quiet away from the promenade, but still close to it. Very nice pool, good and fresh breakfast. Clean. Nice garden. Wifi, fridge and ac available if you want to pay for it. I'm surprised of the standard being so good! 

Just a really lovely place! 

Enjoyed a great stay at the Miramare hotel. Firstly a very friendly staff really helped with all questions. I think its owned by a german, also very clean. The location is amazing, near a sandy beach and the strand but still in a quiet forest. Its a bit harder to find from the city and the telephone signal is quite bad sometimes. The room was OK. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice.

Very good stay, near the beach in a quiet location

The hotel is located at the end of a street in the middle of a lovingly designed garden. The hotel is run by a mother and son who pass on a lot of information. Unfortunately, the son is somewhat shaky in his kindness. The hotel is in the shade, which promises pleasant sleep, but bathing bags will never dry. The breakfast is extensive, good and varied for Greek conditions. For W-Lan, refrigerator, safe, fitness you have to pay - the travel provider has already informed us in advance. If you like to spend your holiday on a Greek island with almost exclusively Romanian, Bulgarian and few Turkish holidaymakers, it is apart from the many forest fires in the southern part of the country) and a good price/expensive hotel in the south.

A hotel that's come a long way

I never expect too much from Greek hotels but this was a pleasant surprise! 

The two people who worked at the hotel were so nice and helpful with everything we wanted to know about the island. They seemed a bit low and not that happy some days. A littlebit disrespectful towards our travel coordinator but who knows what was behind that. 

Very nice breakfast that had a wide variety, fast refills as soon as something ran out and a nice outside seating. The breakfast was one of the things that gave us a super good experience of the hotel. 

The rooms were nice and we really liked the fact that we could decide when we wanted the rooms to be cleaned if we wanted a lay-in or if the weather was bad and we wanted to stay in the room. 

Tv was ok but only three English channels (BBC, Al Jazeera and CNN) and around 400 German ones as the owners had previously lived in Germany and the hotel was very popular by Germans as a result of this. 

No insects seen, no cats seen, nothing like that I've seen in previous posts. 

Only really negative things were that they only changed the towels twice a week (really annoying actually), air conditioning wasn't included, refrigerator wasn't included and wifi was not included. Seems like they could have included these services to be honest as it is already not the cheapest hotel and the standard ok. 

Pool is very cold as previous posts state, leading to us only spending time at the beach as the sea was warmer. 

Overall a nice hotel and we recommend, recommend, recommend!! 

Thassos has so much to offer that you definitely don't need a restaurant at the hotel.

Better than average in average; good employees, good location but can't be find with navigation (especially in the night), breakfast finishes at am 10:00 but employess help you :) Try the pool in the forest ...

Silent and forest..

It's a great family-run hotel in a very quiet, shady location, in a dead end surrounded by trees, with a large swimming pool, and a bar where you can enjoy snacks and refreshments.

A nice, quiet stay

We spent a week with our friends.Everything went very well, the rooms were cleaned every day.The breakfast was very good, and above all I want to thank the owner who helped us a lot, because our car broke down.He is really listening to the problems of the customers.The hotel is quiet, it has a beach, and it's full of terraces and souvenir shops.

Clean, welcoming hotel

Great location in a quiet green area and only 1 minute walk from the sea promenade. The garden is amazing. Great service, very clean. Very good breakfast. There are plenty of restaurants to eat and gift shops. The hotel is just above the Golden beach
