Bay's Hotel

Great hotel, exceptionally clean and really really helpful hosts. The rooms were newly refurbished and we could not have asked for more. The bar and pool area was lovely, with good quality food and drinks. We had a lovely stay and we would defiantly come back.

We had a very nice room, clean and beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, big with a good mattress. The staff was polite and helpful. The bar is right beside the pool which is nice and clean. Definitely would visit again. It is a good choice for people who want to have a good visit without spending too much. 

Due to covid did not think we would make it but thankfully we did collected from port as the hotel is about 10 minutes away and we would never have found it ourselves not very computer savvy checked in the room was clean and spacious in fact two rooms together which delighted our daughter. Spent most days at the pool very well run and kept. The staff were friendly and helpful especially the manager and Miranda behind the bar when we return to spetses we will stay here without a doubt thanks everyone for making our holiday special Karen reg and Sophie 

This little family run hotel is a little gem hidden in beautiful Spetses. Yes true you got to walk a 800 m from
The port, but consider the prices of the other hotel... bay has a lovely swimming pool, the view to the sea is great and the family running the hotel is very nice! They will make everything possible for you to feel great! Breakfast is super you got everything you feel good for you. Their jams are to kill so I asked whether they sell them, they told me no and the day I left I got a jar as a gift!!!
This is a very good souvenir! 

Very friendly family run hotel, with lovely big swimming pool. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, cleaned every day. Ten minute walk to the Dapia, where there are numerous shops, bars and restaurants. Could not complain at all about my stay. Great value for the money and would have no hesitation to stay there again. Many congratulations to Grigoris and the family. It was a pleasure.

a very well run hotel with excellent staff rooms are basic but very clean we ha room no 16 with lovely views air conditioning lovely clean bedding and towels and a very nice breakfast served at the table about 10 minuite walk to bars and resturants also being picked up and returnd to ferry was a bonus

Stayed in a Jr Suite which was great value for money! The breakfast is also wonderful and the host super helpful with transfers and the luggage. Although we did beach visits, the pool can be a great option should you not want to move around. The hotel is very well maintained. It is a great option in an island which is generally overpriced!!!
The hotel is located in the inner part of Spetses town (7'-10' from the port) and finding your way to/from can be a challenge. Google Maps directions work well only if you request driving directions and not walking ones.

Great Hotel, amazing hosts

The owner / receptionist was unprofessional unpleasant rude and unhelpful. 

Upon our arrival on the 14th of August, we were told that we had to go to a different room because the guests before us did some damages.
Then the next day we were moved to the furthest room possible, horrible lighting, the bed was broken there was absolutely no plugs to charge anything. The bed had a bug i’ll insert a picture. 
The bathroom is horrible. The room is tiny and to be honest i was not expecting such bad service, because even if we are stuck with this room you’d at least expect some decent customer service ?

Horrible Stay at Bay’s Hotel Spetses

On arrival we were shown to our family room which was BASIC, we stayed in room 4 which had a bathroom I could only describe as what it would be like showering in a third world prison. It had a shower handle with a one tile width shower no curtain and awful finishes and no ventilation. 

The rooms where so basic with no lighting other than the main room light, the kitchen area was falling apart and the consistent smell of sewage was so off putting.

The breakfast was ok, but the owner would sit at the main reception desk every morning and smoke which would fill the breakfast room with the smell of smoke. 

The pool areas was ok, but the staff were just so blunt, maybe we were expecting a certain level of customer service served with a smile but they were few and far between.

Spetses is a beautiful island and we chose to arrange our trip late so we had limited choice, so advice for anyone else traveling to Spetses in August book early and don’t stay at the Bays Hotel.
