Stayed for 4 nights in August 2019. Everything was great! Clean and cosy room, fully equipped bathroom and what a breakfast in a small paradise yard! Mrs Rena was there for everything, in order to make our stay even more comfortable. Whenever we visit Pelio again this is going to be our accomodation.

We had a fantastic stay here from 19 to 29 Dec. The warmth the weather lacked was more than compensated by the place and its hostess, Rena. We had the romantic "room": A nice cosy apartment with fireplace, split-level room and the bed on the first floor, looking over the small living area. All of this with nice old stone walls and dark wood.

Every day there was a great, home-made and huge breakfast waiting for us. Afterwards you can decide whether to take another Greek coffee or tea (from her own garden!) next to the fireplace and have a chat with the hostess, Rena and/or listen to her advice about interesting things to see or do.

Other than the beds being normal length and thus being shorter than our long Dutch legs desired, I cannot think of any criticism. The hostess is proud of her renovated villa, and she should be!

I can never understand why visitors to Greece crowd into modern hotels at the coast, when they could save money, avoid noise, bustle and mosquitoes by staying in one of the charming and cool inland villages like Tsagarada, Kissos, or Neochori, all within easy driving distance of a variety of wonderful beaches. In Neochori you will find a fantastic guesthouse. Arhontiko Prepala is a beautiful old mansion in a mature garden. It has been tastefully restored with antique furniture and comfortable beds, and with all modern conveniences: tv, wi-fi, refrigerator etc. The welcome was wonderful, the breakfast fantastic, all at a reasoable price. Simply a place where one wishes it were possible to award more than five stars.

We have visited Archontiko Prepala at Christmas.We have decided to make a short break far away from Athens and from my home but i did not make it, because in Arhontiko  i felt at  home.My impressions for this old mansion are exceptional.The hospitality  of hostess mrs Rena was very warm & nice. About the room, everything was very clean and comfortable.About the breakfast each morning, full & delicious.
Finally, in Arhontiko we had a  great time with my girlfriend, we enjoyed every moment of the Christmas spirit .Mrs Rena, we surely come back again to visit you in the future! Absolutely recommended!!

We took a short break in this lovingly renovated petite old mansion with a shaded colourfull garden.  We had a spacious room with a small sitting room on the first floor  which was so cool and airy in a hot summer's day we didn't want to leave our room.

The hostess mrs Rena is a genuinely friendly and warm person who tends everything with loving care.  Cleanliness and comfort  are top priorities plus her personal touch in tastefull decoration.  Highly recommended.

I had a short stay here when travelling through Greece.
Rena provided the best breakfast that I had in Greece (the spanakopita was worth the stay alone) and went to great lengths to make me feel welcome and was more than willing to give me tips on local beaches and activities.The house itself is immaculate, charming and peaceful and was the perfect base from which to access the nearby beaches (afisos, potoki, kalamaki) and trekking routes. The bar in the village square is a must visit when staying here, great views and atmosphere.
I definitely hope to come back again in the future alone or with my family.
