With a little thought, this place could make use of the positives which is the excellent view and the pool. Unfortunately, the whole hotel is tired and in need of updating. The bathrooms were particularly poorly maintained. The customer service is sub standard: We stayed for four nights with no smiles or enthusiasm towards us. Unless the above changes, there are much better options we found while walking around the town and surrounding area. 

Basic, tired & sub standard customer service

The hotel is way up on the hill - if you don't have a car or a bike, don't consider it as an option!
Basic cleaning of the room (we had 2 used glasses in the room that were never changed to cleaned ones - in 5 days they added only 1 small soap in the bathroom!)
Breakfast was self serviced - which means that they prepare you a tray with what is available on the day (so basically everyday is a surprise)
The appliances in the room are really old - TV was making noise and you couldn't control the volume of the air - condition.

Good size of the room.

The only nice thing was the balcony view where you can chill and see all the port and town (and realize how far this hotel is from the center)

Wifi was not working.

Didn't try the swimming pool. 

It is a family business hotel - if you are traveling with kids maybe will suit you.

If it weren't for the cosmic nothingness around the hotel (not a bar or restaurant at the Glossa Harbour, where the hotel is located), I would say that the rooms are magnificent in themselves. As soon as I can publish the pictures of the beautiful terrace overlooking the sea where I dined in candlelight. WIFI is great and now the sad note....the restaurant.

I want to be objective.

I do not know where to start. First of all I have requested a room with sea view (was for a special occasion) and i was given a terrible room with view in the mountain. Upon arrival to the hotel the room had many issues. The mirror was broken and this made our visits in the bathroom really uncomfortable, also the water was not going down in the toilet no matter how hard we tried. The staff was the rudest I have ever encountered. They were not smiling, not speaking English and not willing to help. The breakfast was a joke. It was self-service and you could not select what you wanted. Instead, staff put whatever they wanted in your plate which was annoying as you were not given any choice and you were literally forced to have cheap types of milk, juice etc just for the owners to save money. 
What was HORRIBLE was that we have found hair and 3 ants in the plate after receiving our "breakfast". 
This is a clear indication that the hotel's hygiene is horrible. Although I was ensured the internet was working it actually never worked for me... This is unacceptable as wifi connection was one of the main reasons i selected the hotel. I would never recommend this place as it was the worst hotel I have ever been in my entire life. The only thing I would recommend is to simply not go!

Absolutely horrible !!!

This hotel is situated on the hillside, opposite the town of Skopelos, surrounded completely by pine trees. The rooms, I think all of them, have a front or side verandah where you can sit and gaze at the town and the port of Skopelos. We were given one of the family rooms consisting of two bedrooms and a reasonably sized side-verandah with unrestricted view. The bathroom is small with a small shower basin. The toilet flush never worked properly, requiring the assistance of a water bucket which was available in a recess in the wall together with a plastic low stool....with the elderly in mind? The breakfast is average and self service, you pick up your tray from the kitchen window. The front verandah of the breakfast room has 4 small round tables and you can sit there enjoying the view while drinking your coffee. The beds were firm but not so comfortable. Each room has a old TV set and two single beds. The swimming pool is large and always clean. The swimming area of the port of Skopelos is within walking distance and downhill...but remember, going back to the hotel is uphill and the sun is hot. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance, but for the centre, I would say, you need a car.

Value for money with great view, greenery and a swimming pool

It's a small family-owned hotel. The lady who runs it doesn't speak a word of Italian, the rooms are small with an almost unbreakable bathroom. Breakfast is prepared by the lady and includes coffee or milk and jam bread and butter or ham and yogurt cheese.
