breathtaking view from the balkony,kind hosts,clean and cozy!well equiped also.access to beach needs a car though,or fit people,as  it's 10 minutes walk down the hill...amazing clean waters in Loutraki!

We've stayed here twice this year, for a week in July and then for two weeks right at the end of the season. We travelled with our 18 month old Grandaughter and used one of the larger apartments here so we could easily fit in a travel cot. We had an enormous balcony overlooking (virtually on top of!) Loutraki harbour with stunning views of the sunset over Skiathos. Like a lot of hotels and tavernas on Skopelos, it's locally owned and operated and you're likely to find that Nikolas will put some of the garden produce in the room during your stay. Tomatoes with real taste!
We ended up eating in the apartment most evenings, where there was a simple kitchenette, soaking up the sunset on the balcony.
You can get plusher places, but I doubt you'll get friendlier ones.
We love the place.

I was very pleased with our stay at Rania Studios. The apartment is spacious and has good quality furnishings. The only issue I really had with it was the kitchenette.  It is furnished with dishes and pots and pans to cook, but they did not supply you with soap and a sponge to clean the dishes you use. There were no paper towels or napkins either. I feel if you are going to furnish a kitchenette, it should be complete. With that said it did not diminish my stay at all. It was just an unnecessary expense to purchase these in my opinion. The owner was very friendly and if I asked her she would have probably given them to us, but I don't think I should have to ask. The really cool thing about the location is it has a path along the coast to the central area so you do not need a car to get there. All in all I would definitely stay there again, just bring supplies with you. 

Skopelos Island

Just ariving in Skopelosi after a spur of the moment decision to travel from Skiathos for a overnight stay. We arived in the beautiful little harbour of Loutraki 
Just below Glossa and found a lovely friendly
little place  called Rania Studios.The small family run place was so friendly and welcoming and we were  shown a lovely large room by Anastasia the owner.
The view from the large sun balcony was amazing. 
Over the harbor. And if that wasn't enough anastasias
Husband Niko had a lovely garden growing all sorts of veg wich he very frendly offerd us. All in all it was a lovely frendly place and we stayed afurther two days before heading back to Skiathos for the rest of our holls.But will be gowing back next year. 21/7/14
