337 reviewsOur trip to Skopelos-Skyathos was organised on a very short notice, but we were lucky enough to find a room at Melrose. The place is within 10 minutes’ walk from the port and the old town, so you will be very close to all the action and the glorious food, but at a safe distance from the noise. The rooms are very-very spacious. We were two adults and one child and it was perfect. I think we had the biggest balcony we ever enjoyed in a rented place. The rooms are super clean, good beds, everything you need to cook is there and in case you need to wash clothes, it was also a washing machine. There is good air conditioning, strong Wi-Fi and did I mention peace and quiet? The breakfast is good, so everything you need for a healthy start of the day will be in your plate: cheese, ham, eggs, marmalade, honey, cereal, milk, coffee, fresh bread, fruits. But what I liked the most was the garden, all the greenery surrounding the villa, how everything was so well maintained, the freshness of the trees, the nice and cozy atmosphere. And last, but not least, Maria, the host, was very kind and very responsive to all our questions and needs. So, yes, if you find a room here, look no further.
