Skoplelos was our first visit to a Greek island and we deliberately chose Pension Sotos based on good online reviews, its location and appearance. We were so happy with our 4 night stay. Our room (No. 1) was comfortable, clean and spacious, fridge included. We were offered use of the kitchen / laundry, and made the most of the outdoor and rooftop courtyards. The building is absolutely gorgeous, very historic, located right on the waterfront, and nothing is too much trouble for the hosts. Would definitely stay here again and can highly recommend.

We stayed at this pension as two families of four (two adults and two children age 10 and 8) on a mini break visit from Skiathos.
It’s a great location, just a short walk (five mins) from the ferry port and directly above the front line cafes and restaurants on the harbour side. 
We had a front room overlooking the restaurants and while there was a little bit of gentle noise from the street below in the evening, it didn’t prove problematic for us at all. The harbour side is quite sleepy in the morning so morning noise was not a problem at all.
Rooms are basic but perfectly acceptable. Simply furnished but very clean and freshened up daily. All of the rooms are different. Different sizes and with different views.  There are also some great communal areas with washing lines and maidens to hang out your wet beachwear and towels.
The best part was the wonderful welcome and friendly service from Alexandra who was great from start to finish. A really quirky hidden gem. We loved it, thank you.

We went to Pension Sotos for two weeks and then added a third…then a fourth!
This is almost a secret! A great little pension of 12 rooms right on the port, alongside all the bars and restaurants.

The rooms are €20 a night, even with three people. An absolute bargain! This is a historic building with spacious rooms. All are en-suite with a small shower. They have a fridge, TV and air-con. The building has two lovely sun terraces, one overlooking the harbour activity.

There are three rooms overlooking the harbour, one has a balcony. The other rooms overlook the terraces.

The owner is Alexandra. She is lovely and very helpful. She allows you to use a small kitchen and the washing machine.

In short it is perfectly located, well appointed and cheap as chips. Don’t expect the Hilton, expect charm!

Everything about this place is brilliant: the location, the service, the rooms, the facilities… and especially Alexandra, the owner. 
She is charming, warm & friendly; it felt like she couldn’t do enough for us. 
That is probably the best value place I’ve ever stayed in. It’s worth many times the rate. This is a bargain!

Superb guesthouse right in the centre of Skopelos. We felt relaxed comfortable and welcome from the moment we walked in the door. Alexandra is a wonderful hostess. Old-style guesthouse and great value. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Located in one of the best positions possible slap bang on the port front of Skopleos, the traditionally styled accommodation of Pension Kir Sotos is both comfortable and always kept immaculately clean. 
Alexandra the proprietor, an exceptional ‘one woman wonder’, cannot do enough to ensure your stay is the best it can possibly be. She will assist/advise/point you in the right direction for any of your queries and needs, and is one of the most genuine and kindest hosts you could imagine for. 
Thank you Alex, and I can’t wait to return to the sunshine of Skopelos again! 

Very Nice guesthouse, simple but very clean and with charm. Very central in the town but quiet (at least if in back rooms). Alexandra lends cards. Very cheap for quality.view on a prety Church (noisy on sundays), one nice courtyard and wine terasse.

Alexandra is a wonderful host. The rooms are very basic, but inexpensive, close to restaurants/bars/port/bus station, and the A/C and wifi work great. The nearby Greek Orthodox Church thinks they should ring their bells early in the morning, but you won't notice them after a few days.  

Sotos is perfectly located in the downtown centre of Skopelos within walking distance of everything. The pension is clean and charming and will provide you with excellent accommodation and a communal kitchen and courtyards more than adequate for your needs. But the cherry on top is the owner, Alexandra. Alexandra is the perfect host, very helpful and understanding, willing to go the extra mile - she is like a good friend from the moment you meet her.

We stayed 5 nights and didn’t want to leave!
The proprietor, Alexandra’s genuine hospitality made us feel comfortable and immediately right at home.
Rooms are equipped with their own fridge and we made use of the common kitchen area with its coffee tea milk sugar toast butter jams etc.
The location couldn’t be better, very near to the port with the ferries and right in the center of Skopolos town.
We rented a car from a company close by.
We can’t wait to return!

With very low prices, Pension Sotos provides an authentic and comfortable stay in Skopelos. It’s superb location grants the luxury of being just one step away from many excellent restaurants, as well as very close to the parking lot should you have a car. Alexandra is a wonderful host, and was not only very flexible when we had to change our nights due to ferry issues, but also went to every extent to see we were happy and comfortable. Should we return to Skopelos, we will without a doubt stay at Pension Sotos.
