Hotel Marlton is a lovely family run hotel in a perfect location on a side street off Papadiamante Street. Dimitris the owner and his family are really welcoming and helpful. I stayed in the new wing in a lovely large room with two single beds pushed together. There was a fridge, air con, TV, plenty of storage, comfortable beds and pillows. The large bathroom had good shower with curtain. Water was hot. There were little bottles of shampoo/body wash and little bars of soap. Hairdryer on request. Lovely large balcony with table and chairs and washing line. Nice pool area with a few sun loungers. Adequate breakfast, cereal, eggs, cheese, ham, tinned fruit, yoghut, pastries, coffee and fruit juice. There is no toaster or tea. Dimitris will happily bring you a pot of hot water and tea bag. WiFi was only available in the reception area while I was there. Beds made and room cleaned everyday and towels and bedding changed every other day.

Hotel excellent location 
Dimitri the owner so friendly and funny , had a lot of banter with him each day .  Breakfast basic but enough to choose from . The only thing was no toaster

Hotel Marlton 

I had such a lovely time staying at Dimitri's hotel in the centre of town for a week this Summer. Dimitri and his family are lovely and were full of recommendations for a solo traveller - I ended up staying three more nights than I was originally going to! The hotel was clean, beds and towels changed every 2 days, and the aircon was perfect - I especially loved having a drying rack on the balcony for drying my wet swimmers! 

The location is absolutely perfect - a 2 minute walk from the main shopping and restaurant street in Skiathos, well lit and I felt safe the entire time I stayed here as a solo female traveller. If I'm back in Skiathos again I would definitely come back.

Lovely family-run hotel in perfect location

We really enjoyed staying here.  The location was perfect.  Right in the old town just off the main street with all the restaurants.  There is a supermarket nearby.   The owner is a character!  Warm and welcoming.  The rooms are simple but comfortable.  There was a warm shower with good pressure.  I liked sitting out on the balcony overlooking the pool.  The air conditioning worked well.  No complaints!

Sweet little family run hotel

Dimitri, the owner, couldn't do enough for us. This hotel is perfectly located in town yet  in a quiet street. The rooms are clean, large and comfortable with zircon and your own fridge. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful, and there is a pool and sunbeams for a swim.

Lovely friendly hotel in great location

The hotel was located on a small side street of the main drag. It's was nice and clean. I spoke alot with the owner was really cool, who had lived in the US so he spoke English well.

Awesome little place

We stayed at this hotel from 2nd -17th Sept 18. What a little gem, Dimitrius and his family were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel was very clean and the room was spacious with air conditioning and tv...basic but adequate. The pool was lovely and some days it was as though we had a private pool, all to ourselves. It is right in the middle of Skiathos Town, on a little side street off the main street, but very quiet at night but so convenient for all amenities. Dimitrius's mother made the most amazing cheese pie and sweets for us, they were delicious and she even gave us the recipe to try at home. Lovely hotel, lovely people, can recommend.

Brilliant little gem in Skiathos Town

A small hotel 5 minutes from the harbour in a side street so very quiet during the day and night.  Ample breakfast with good choice.  Rooms had a fridge and good air con. Dimitrios and his family/staff were very helpful and always happy.  Excellent value for money. 

Perfect location

Stayed here for 6 nights.  Rooms spacious and cleaned everyday.  Breakfast good and plentiful. Demetrious the owner will do anything to help your stay comfortable. Suitable hotel for families and singles near to port and bars and shops everything you need.  We had a great stay and would come back tomorrow.  Hire a car as we got to see the many near beaches.  Excellent hotel based centrally in Skiathos.

We'll be returning 2017 for our 4th stay!  This hotel is in the middle of it all in Skiathos town but once you step through the front door all of that disappears and a swim in the pool is a great way to relax!  The rooms are spotlessly clean.  A very nice breakfast is presented each morning.  The owners/managers Dimitri, Katerina and Anastasia are friendly and want to ensure you have everything you need!  There is no other place on the island that could draw us away from this wonderful spot!
