We visited this lovely restaurant a few times. 17e for a 3 course meal with wine as well as a wide selection of other meals.
I particularly enjoyed my fried zucchini and souvalakis. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We didn’t stay here but it soon became our favourite place to eat. We went four times and every time it was a treat. It is family run and clearly they take a pride in making their guests welcome. So friendly and the food is exceptional - traditional and home cooked. The Mousaka was to die for! Bread and dips as a welcome and complimentary ice cream or digestif are another nice touch. On our last visit the family all came out to say goodbye and wish us well - very genuine and lovely. You will not have a meal here and leave disappointed. 

Definite 5 star review. Family run apartments with such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in a nice quiet location on the side of a picturesque valley with a few eateries around and a shop opposite. 10 mins walk to the beach and conveniently located for bus stop 15. Very clean everywhere - rooms cleaned daily with new towels etc, swimming pool is good and spotless. Apartment basic but spacious with small kitchenette. We ate at the taverna on-site twice, homely food with a great friendly atmosphere. Really enjoyed our 6 night family stay. 

Lovely hotel. Soula and her family could not do enough for you. Set in beautiful gardens and surroundings. Rooms cleaned daily with fresh bedding and towels. The taverna offers a range of dishes, didn't have a bad meal! Pool area is lovely and clean, plenty of sunbeds. Will definitely be returning!

I highly recommend this location,
the room was big enough for 2 adults and a child, the kitchenette equipped with everything necessary, everything impeccable and well equipped. The family that runs it was so nice, very welcoming and helpful. Location is next to bus stop 15. Good size pool and plenty of sunbeds. Kolios beach nearby which is beautiful. The family tavern serves breakfast and dinner, very good food at reasonable prices. A very good location, a wonderful family!

We visited in July and the apartments and experience certainly live up to the reviews. Soula and Christos are so welcoming and work extremely hard along with their 3 teenage children (George, Maria & Nico) and other staff. Nothing is too much trouble. We asked Soula about car hire and within 10 minutes she had organised everything for us. Location is great - about 10 minutes walk from both Bus Stop 15 on the main road & Kolios Beach and 15 minutes walk from Agia Pereskevi beach and various restaurants along the road (would recommend Jimmys and Platanias). Infinity Blue just 5 minutes walk away is highly recommended and has wonderful sea views. The area is so tranquil with a farm below. The apartments themselves are very clean, well kept & spacious - all with nice balconys and lovely views of the pool and pine forests. In the evenings, the on site taverna is open and serves good food - particularly recommended are the cheese pies and Christos' homemade vanilla ice cream with chocolate chips - one of the best ice creams we have ever had! Breakfast is a nice touch in the taverna - serving toast, sweet bread, doughnuts, greek yogurt, tea, coffee and juices. You can ask for eggs to be freshly cooked. The pool area is great - it is rarely busy so plenty of sunbeds and 4 large umbrellas - one in each corner. We visited several beaches - Mandraki on the north coast (on Christos' recommendation) and Troulos were our favourites. Skaithos Town is as wonderful as ever - especially in the evenings. Overall, a great place to stay - thanks Soula, Christos, George, Maria & Nico for everything - when we return to Skiathos again we wont stay anywhere else!

We visited our family who were staying here. Run by friendly family in a beautiful position over looking pine forest . Situated up a hill so not recommended for anyone who find walking difficult  Great apartments , lovely pool and plenty of sun beds. Meals served in the evening but also restaurants nearby. A short walk to Kolios beach , bus stop 15 . If you want please and tranquillity this is the place .

Would 100% recommend Skiathos Diamond Apartments in Kolios.  Great location, on bus stop 15, half way between Town and Kolios.  Busses run every 15 mins so easy to get around without hire car.
Kolios beach is great for snorkeling,  etc. The Apartments themselves really clean with nice pool. Soula  Cristof and family are brilliant,  nothing is too much trouble.  We ate most nights there too, food excellent.  Perfect for a stay on the island,  100% recommend!

Great sized immaculately clean and very well maintained apartments in a beautiful setting with pool  - and run by a very friendly and helpful family who never stop working to ensure you have  a fabulous holiday ! 
Small supermarket just outside  - 2 beaches within 10 and 15 minutes walk !
We are already looking to book a return  !

Amazing apartments, spotlessly clean, large, great views, lots of storage, great shower, towels changed constantly, pool towels provided, lovely restaurant, in a great location half way between Koukanaires and Skiathos Town, 5 min walk to Bus stop 15.  Great beach 5/6 min walk. Soula and her family who run the apartments and restaurant are wonderful people, nothing is too much trouble, don’t hesitate to book here, we will definitely be back.

Wonderful Stay

We have spent 10 days in July 2021 in Skiathos at Diamond Apartments. Based on our experience gained during the last 17 years of summer, and not only summer holidays, done in Greece, we can say only that this was one of the best ever summer holidays for us.

Facility has a perfect location in Kolios and for guests with a car it is only a few minutes ride away from the Skiathos Town. For others, there is a bus station No. 15 which is easily reachable by just 3-4 min. walk from apartments. We (2 Adl. + 2 Chd.) have booked Superior Studio with breakfast as an option.

Studio is big enough having all utilities (TV, free AC, safe, small kitchen, free Wi-Fi, balcony) necessary for pleasant stay. Diamond Apartments offers a free parking place and within the facility there are Tavern and swimming pool too.

Breakfast was served offering a plenty of options for everybody inlcuding all kind of coffees (Greek, frape, espresso, cappuccino, filter coffee etc.), Greek yoghurt with honey, ham, cheese, eggs (boiled, scrambled, fried, omelet etc.), butter, jam, Nutella cream, honey, diff. cereals, donuts, toasted bread, cakes, fruit etc.

In the evening there is fine and super tasty traditional Greek food which could be ordered in Tavern. Strong recommendation for Greek Moussaka :)!

Although Diamond Apartments has perfect location, is super clean (cleaning ladies are for sure "world champions" in cleaning), breakfast and food for dinner are tasty, without complete Family Makaratzis our summer holiday could not be perfect as it was.

From the first minute of our stay, our whole family felt very very very welcomed. We have never ever experienced such hospitality in Greece for the last 17 years before. Starting from small information requests such as for example: where to buy wild oregano oil, how to find targeted beach, where to park in Skiathos Town up to calling friends and family relatives to ask for handmade olive oil and honey, everything was solved immediately by Soula and Christos and their three children.

On the last day before we have to travel back home, Soula has even organized picking up of a few medicine products ordered on-line some days before. She has managed to pick it up and to find us in Skiathos Town after we left the Diamond Apartment and just before we took a ferry back to Volos!? 

For all what we have experienced during our stay, we strongly recommend Diamond Apartments as a first choice Skiathos accommodation facility especially for families with children.
