Aggelos Studios… secret gem.
Perfect apartment! The gardens are beautiful and pool area is well cared for, relaxing and peaceful.
Costas and Anna are so welcoming. Excellent coffee and pizza from the pool bar.
Will definitely be back.
Highly recommend.

Secret gem

We have been to Skiathos 9 times this is the worst place we have stayed at. Our room was number 10 on the top floor. Firstly we had part of the canopy over the balcony was hanging off. The 2 cream directors chairs on the balcony were covered in black mold. The handle on the cupboard door in the kitchen was hanging off. The patio door wouldn't lock properly. We have been trekking in Nepal which is a third world country and I have never seen a shower so filthy in all my life the bathroom was like a bunker. I had to buy 2 bottles of bleach and cleaned it myself. We had ants crawling everywhere in the cupboards on the kitchen work surfaces. We couldn't prepare any breakfast in the room. We complained to the owners who said they couldn't move us to another room which is utter rubbish as We hardly saw anyone there. The  other guests we spoke to all had complaints about the place. It is supposed to be 3 star I wouldn't give it 1 star. The owners did clean the mold off the chairs and repaired the roof so why wasn't it done before we arrived. The pool was filthy I wouldn't even dip my toe in. I never saw anyone cleaning the pool the whole week we were there. Everyone's room keys were left in a bucket on the stairs for anyone to see. I saw them there 3-4 times in the week. When we arrived we had a hand written note left to say due to the recent floods there was no Wifi. At first we thought fair enough, until we met some people who stayed there last year and there was no wifi then either. Not sure where some of the reviews come from. What I have said is 100% accurate.

Don't stay here !

First time to Greece wasn’t sure what to expect but what a lovely little island stayed at aggelos studios and got in the little row of studios before the pool lovely rooms clean and with everything you need as said before a little dark but so hot outside it was shaded a bit by the trees the pool was lovely was well appreciated in the hot weather was very well placed for everything in resort and the little bar was open selling beer soft drinks and water till 6 pm restaurants and bars near next time we go will definitely hire a car and explore more

First time to greece

We had a wonderful stay at the studio. The staff there are very warm and welcoming. It was so lovely and quiet and we enjoyed the morning sun on the balcony with lovely greenery around. The double bed was so comfortable and great that the air con and safe were free. Bring with you something to apply so the mosquitoes don't come as there are a few. All kitchen essentials in kitchenette with fridge. We absolutely loved the location as it's not on the main road and only about 10 minutes walk to Koukounaries beach which is the best beach that I've been to with clear water and all sand. Soft sand in the sea and no pebbles which we loved! Beautiful background with green pine trees all along the beach. The island is so so green its incredible! There is also a shortcut to Koukounaries beach by going through the forest which is by the lake (the lake is opposite the studio however the entrance gate is slightly further down). Some black rabbits seem to live around the lake area which was a joy to see them!! Go to "Paralia Agia Eleni" beach for beautiful sunsets only 15 minute walk away. There are a few small supermarkets nearby. There is a water taxi that goes to Skiathos Town for 6 euros which was nice to see the other beaches etc along the way. The clock tower was worth going to where Mamma Mia was filmed. Some steep steps to get there however the view from there is stunning. We would definitely come back again! 

Amazing

Amazing place to relax!!!The best location of the island and near of the famous koukounaries lake. ( you must visit)

A place to relax..!

We recently had the privilege of staying at this beautiful place in Skiathos! The hotel owners exuded a level of hospitality that was second to none; they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The premises and the location of the hotel were ideal! There was easy access to not just one but three stunning beaches. It made our days incredibly enjoyable and convenient.
Additionally, there are several delightful restaurants nearby, serving a variety of delicious local and international dishes. Lastly, the pool area was immaculately kept and provided a serene atmosphere to relax and unwind after a day of exploration. We highly recommend this place! We will return next year!

Missing Skiathos already

Located at the best spot of the island, in the middle of a forest, only a few minutes walking from the best beaches. Spacious, quiet, clean room with big comfy beds. Helpful and attentive staff.  Cozy pool bar with a good selection of drinks and spirits by the swimming pool surrounded by beautiful trees and well looked after grounds of the hotel. Great selection of restaurants around the area. Not to be missed

Not to be missed! 5*

The bar was never open the whole time so hard to mix with other people.  The maids did not seem to do much apart from empty bins.  No cleaning fluids used through the whole week.  Had a canny stay.  Too quiet.  Lovely holiday but too far from Skiathos town.

Canny

The location is really good about 10 minutes walk to Koukounaries beach which is lovely for an early morning swim.  There are some nice bars and restaurants, again within walking distance, which we found was enough.  A few of the bars have closed probably due to Covid, but I would imagine this will change in the coming summers and we didn't find this a problem.
The buses are very regular and cheap towards Skiathos town which is a must see during your stay.  We also really enjoyed a boat trip on the Ohana which sailed from the main town's harbour.  The island is beautiful and the people very nice.  Lots of nice beaches especially if you have a car.
We used a great supermarket by the airport called Σκλαβενίτης for our first shop and topped up from, the still good, local supermarkets.
The pool bar wasn't open, but we didn't see this as an issue since our friends and ourselves had fridges in our rooms and cool bags.  The pool is fine and we enjoyed our time there.  There is a free safe in the rooms which is a really nice touch.  Also the beds are fairly comfy.
The difference in the standard of rooms was an issue for me.  We were in room  14 which is at the back of the bigger block.  We found our room dark, small and in need of some attention.  This room will always be a bit of a smaller cousin to the ones overlooking the pool and due to the east facing direction, through one smallish door, a bit darker.  The issues though could be largely overcome by better lighting and white paint.  In the short-term higher watt bulbs would help a lot.  The owners have clearly started renovations, the kitchens, ceilings and doors are relatively new in all the rooms I saw.  Some of the more modern rooms have nice lampshades and pictures (rather than the net curtain which we had) which really does make a difference.  
I assume the owners will resolve the niggles in time, but this has affected how I have rated the studios during my stay.  Despite my average score I would have rated our room as a poor, but I don't believe that's the case in all of them.

Hit + Miss

The accomodation is ok. However the room and bathroom are small, which makes it rather uncomfortable. The shower has no screen so you always flood the whole bathroom when taking a shower. And the room had ants. 
Location is quite good. The property is quiet and overall pleasant. The pool looks much better in real life than in the pictures.
