Pension Meteora

Pension Meteora is slightly tricky to locate but worth finding. I stayed here one night in July 2013. The Pension is a few minutes walk from the seafront in Skiathos Town and it seems most rooms have at least a partial sea view. If you approach the Pension from the seafront there are quite a few steps up to the entrance but it isn't that much trouble, just worth knowing if you're bringing a suitcase rather than a backpack. My room was clean, secure and comfortable with a small ensuite shower and WC. The room price included air conditioning and free WiFi for which the signal was consistently good. There was a TV with several channels, thankfully two English-speaking ones! The room also had a large fridge which was very useful. There is a supermarket about a minutes walk further along the street that the Pension is on. I didn't see much of the staff once I had checked in but they were efficient, friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place for couples, solo travelers and people on a budget.
