We have had our first week at this hotel. We had a great relaxing time. The staff are all very friendly & more than helpful. The breakfasts are very enjoyable. The pool area is great with plenty of sun beds.
The room we were in 218 needs the shower updating the shower curtain needs to be removed  & replaced with a glass screen on the outside of the drain.
The management surprise me,no UK tour operators now list this hotel making it very expensive uk citizens to travel. If a uk tour operator was used we could travel  with our cases  & transfer  to the hotel included in the price. Without the operator we have to pay  the extra costs involved.

A quiet location and only a brief walk  to the busy village center. Has a wonderful large pool as well as chairs on the beach. Awesome breakfast included and a delightful staff.   Our family enjoyed our trip to Lesvos and we look forward to returning to Kalloni Bay next year. 

Visited in June this year. Very professional friendly helpful staff.  Rooms cleaned daily. Nice breakfast. Very peaceful with beach across the road and the village 10 minutes stroll away. We will return. Thank you.

This was our fourth visit to this hotel, the last time being 9 years ago and yet again we weren't disappointed

This hotel is just absolutely perfect.  The rooms are typically Greek, so all the basics are there - fridge, Aircon, safety deposit box and TV, we had 2 wardrobes and plenty of drawers for storage. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean, the room was serviced every day with a good system for towels, when you want clean ones, leave your dirty ones on the floor, otherwise hang them on the rail if you are happy to use them again always plenty of hot water available. 

The breakfast has lots of choice and lovely fresh Greek bread help yourself to hot drinks. The location is perfect, a short walk into the village, it overlooks the beach and has beautiful gardens, plenty of room for parking if you have hired a car

I only have one observation to make, and that is the price of beer in the bar, they were charging 5 euros for a bottle of beer or for a pint of draught lager, whereas in the village the prices were around the 3.50 euros mark, quite a difference and it is possibly why the bar always seemed very quiet in the evenings when we arrived back. In my eyes, the hotel is still worthy of a 5 star review, we will definitely be going back

Last but definitely not least, the staff are brilliant, everyone is so friendly and helpful, some remembered us from our previous stay 9 years ago!

It was our first time in Lesvos and we couldn't have chosen better, both the resort of Skala Kallonis and the hotel. Rooms were basic but clean, the led lights behind the headboard gave a nice modern touch to the room. We requested a large balcony and were given a huge terrace shared by 3 rooms but each having a private area too. We had views of both garden and sea so the best of both worlds. The breakfast area was lovely and the breakfast though typically Greek was very good and plentiful. We loved the pool area, the pool is huge and very clean. There was only one day we were unable to get a sunbed so literally crossed the road to the beach and spent a few hours on their free sunbeds with the most amazing breeze to keep us cool. We had a couple of snacks from the poolside bar which we thought were very good and reasonably priced. There was no inside bar open and the pool bar shut at 11pm, which was fine by us, perfect for a quick drink on returning from our evening meal before retiring to our balcony. It was never busy but Peter the barman kept us entertained. Skala Kallonis was very pretty and there were enough tavernas/restaurants to give choice of where to eat. There was also a couple of small mini markets, a pharmacy and an ATM. We would definitely return at some point.

Just returned from a week at the Kalloni Bay hotel. On arrival we were greeted by the friendly receptionist with a cool glass of fresh orange juice which was very welcomed! Our room was on the ground floor and on first view seemed quite basic and overlooking the garden at the rear of the hotel. Rooms were clean with plenty of hanging space, not so much drawer space but we managed just fine for the two of us. Bathroom was a little in need of a refurb with a quite small shower and curtain. Air con was a godsend and completely free unlike some hotels we have stayed in. Safe cost 12 euros for the week so not very expensive for peace of mind for your valuables. Room equipped with a lovely sized fridge and hairdryer.  Beds and pillows were a little on the firm side for us but we managed to sleep ok. Breakfast was quite plentiful, hot selection every day, little sausages, beans and either scrambled or fried eggs plus yogurt fruit and cold meats, bread and cakes. Coffee was very nice! Ate at the pool bar one lunch time and found it quite reasonable with the club sandwich served with fries being absolutely delicious!! All of the staff are very friendly, always ready with a smile and a  'Calimera'! Didn't sit around the pool but used the free sunbeds provided on the beach. Reception staff very  helpful and helped us to book taxis for our day out.
We thought the resort was a little on the quiet side at first but over the week it really grew on us and we were very sad to leave both the resort and the hotel. We would definitely go back, hopefully soon. Thank you Kalloni Bay and staff for making our holiday so special.

Not only in the hotel but also during a 3-days stay in the hospital!!! Our big thanks go out to all of the staff, reception, maintenance,housekeeping, kitchen and bar. We really enjoyed our stay here at the Kalloni Bay.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and always took the time to chat to you.

Rooms were clean and comfortable with a great balcony. Ours overlooked the gardens at the back of the property.

The food was good. Reasonable choice for vegetarians and all veg was home grown and locally prepared.

The grounds of the hotel were clean, tidy and relaxing. Only a 30 second walk from the beach and 10 minutes from the little harbour and bars. This area comes alive at night with a lovely local atmosphere.

The only negative (no fault of the hotel), the beach isn't the best in the world but there are free sunbeds provided by the hotel.

Would absolutely stay here again.

Just returned from yet another great time at this lovely hotel. From arrival until the day we had unfortunately to leave, everyone made us feel welcome. This was our seventh consecutive year running to visit this hotel after a break of a few years. All the staff, from the owner to the pool barman were very attentive. This year, my husband had a health problem and they could not do enough to help us. The hotel breakfasts are wonderful as are the evening meals. The hotel is perfectly positioned right across from the beach and a short flat walk into the unspoiled fishing village. Looking forward to our next visit.

From the moment you get there you feel relaxed from the management and all the staff 
And dimitris is a excellent barman.the rooms are simple but comfortable and the pool area is very clean with just a short walk to the beach and 600m to the village and restaurants
And hope to be back next year

Amazing location and wonderful pool

I really like Kalloni Bay Hotel, even though it is old fashioned and the service is a bit slow, it has a great pool and poolside bar, its located right next to the beach and its set in beautiful gardens. Its a perfect way to spend your days on holiday in Lesbos. Its a short walk to Skala Kaloni, which has a cluster of traditional Greek restaurants around a pretty harbour.  Its a quiet location, perfect for bird watching (apparently!) and reading your book by the pool in the sunshine, so perfect holiday hotel!

Just a one night stay!

We have had a wonderful holiday at Kalloni Bay. The hotel is in a perfect location and has everything you could want near by. It’s surrounded by stunning scenery and is one of the most peaceful and tranquil places we have visited. 
Within a 5 minute walk you’re in the town centre and there are an array of bars and restaurants to choose from. I would definitely recommend Caprice, the food was fabulous. 
Pool area at the hotel is well kept and the pool bar is reasonable prices and nice food. 
The only things that I feel are a negative for this hotel are the beds - as they are rock solid and very uncomfortable, And the bathrooms - traditional is fine, we don’t care how old fashioned is but the cleanliness is key, and this was very poor. The soap scum and mildew on the taps, toilet and shower/tiles is terrible. We have stayed in many different types of accommodation including hostels which were far better standards! The bathrooms need a serious deep clean and much better standards going forward. This was the main thing that let the hotel down for us as a clean bathroom is always a must. 
Besides that though we have enjoyed our holiday and most of the hotel. The staff were all wonderful too and very helpful. 
If you’re looking for a low cost holiday and not too fussy on where you stay then you won’t go wrong with Kalloni Bay.

Lovely week at this amazing hotel

Wonderful friendly hotel

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Only 10 minutes walk to the village center. Hotel has a nice buffet dinner if you don't want to go to the village. The pool area is quite big with two pools. One for children. The pool bar serves also lunch, ice cream and snacks, coffee, beer, wines and cocktails. The pool bar staff is friendly and always smiling even if it's busy during lunch hours. Magdalena is just adorable in the breakfast room and pool bar. Breakfast is good enough to take til afternoon. Breakfast buffet with scrambled or boiled egg, sausage, beans, coffee, tea, juices, bread, jam ham, cheese and cakes. The rooms is nice (we had with a sea view). The tap water is drinkable. Rooms has a fridge to keep your drinks cool. Bed was comfortable. Balcony was little dirty because of the swallow's nest but it was nice to watch the feeding. Bathroom was ok and we didn't run out of warm water. Two big wardrobes in the room but without shelves. That's a small lack of. I recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday.
