708 reviewsIn all my years of travelling, this hotel is the tops! It is a smaller hotel, and all the better for it. Family run, they are so helpful and accommodating. Rooms are cleaned daily, small fridge. Less than 5/6 minutes walk into the centre of Fira. The view is stunning and even the quality of the sunbeds is the best I've ever seen. No need to put your towels on a sunbed - towels are provided and sunbed plentiful. You order your breakfast the day before and it is brought to your room - lots of choice and huge portions. They don't have a restaurant but there are so many in Fira. I cannot recommend this hotel more highly. In Fira, expect to pay double for a restaurant with a view, but do treat yourself to the sunset view once or twice! For those that like it, there is a MacDonalds (1), recommend the bakery next to it - delicious and reasonable. You are not bothered in the many shops. It is quite hilly so not for anyone with mobility issues. The donkeys come through the town a couple of times a day - and they seem well looked after. Oiya is a must, but be prepared for crowds, particularly when the cruise ships are in - and it is expensive. Perissa beach is busy, black sand, worth a visit.
