We paid almost £220 for one night at this hotel and can only describe it as adequate at best.  This cost was simply because it is in Thira not for any luxury.  It was right on an extremely busy, and quite frankly dangerous, road. There were no facilities to speak of.  We weren't departing until 17:30 in the evening but were told there were no changing or shower facilities available.  We ended up showering by the pool with a garden hose then getting changed in the toilet!  There was no bar so no drinks or snacks available.  Our room was quite large but the beds were small singles.  The bedspreads had clearly not been washed and had stains on them.  The bathroom had been painted an odd gray colour and resembled a prison cell.  The toilet cistern dripped all night. The shower was actually quite good but the shower head needed de scaling and a good clean. Thank god we only booked one night as there was a green light above the door which lit up the entire room so it was impossible to sleep.  We also had the main fuse board in our room which was a bit odd.  Breakfast was extremely basic (see photo below).
So the good points.... The hotel was mostly very clean.  The staff were helpful and very nice.  The pool was really clean and very nice, although it was very overlooked by neighbouring houses and building works next door. The surrounding roads were very noisy.  
Generally I wouldn't go back to Thira.  The view and the sunset were amazing but we had to pay €26 for a G&T and a small beer to sit and watch it. The streets were very crowded.  There was rubbish and litter everywhere and the constant traffic was awful. Everything was a lot more expensive than elsewhere on the island.  I much preferred Kamari.

Adequate at best

A great way to start our Greek island trip with a three night stay here at Nissos Thira.  The room is clean and comfortable, the shower was nice and hot. The pool was open and refreshing. We enjoyed lounging in the chairs in the sunshine. Breakfast every morning was delicious. Perfectly located only five minutes from the main bus terminal, and only five minutes from all the main streets, restaurants, and shops. The entire staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place.

Clean, Comfortable, Great Location, Swimming pool, Breakfast!

Two stars only because we clearly paid too much for this hotel. There were hotels with beautiful views at a cheaper price. For some reason, booking.com offered an exorbitant price for this hotel.

Positive:
- The location is very good, just go out of the door and you will finf yourself right in the middle of the action.
- The staff was very nice, nothing bad to say about it. 
- The room was spacious (it was family room).

Negative:
- Breakfast is almost non-existent. Boiled egg, curd, a few slices of cheese and ham and pastries. However, there are many places in the city that also serve breakfast.
- No sea view. There are many hotels with a beautiful sea view.
- Once again I must emphasize the price.  It is definitely worth exploring all the hotels in more detail. I wouldn't have any bad word to say about this hotel if it had cost half what we paid.

The price-quality ratio is not fair.

We stayed at Nissos for a week as a group of 13 (+ baby) for a friends wedding and the hotel was perfect for us! The staff were all absolutely lovely, so relaxed and incredibly accommodating. The location is smack bang in the middle of Thira as well as being minutes from the bus station to explore the rest of the island. 

Couldn’t recommend staying here more- definitely request the room with the mega terrace overlooking the pool- iconic.

Great value, excellent location, exceptional staff!

The location is nice, the rooms are ok, but the breakfast was VERY DISAPPOINTING. You can get a better breakfast at a school canteen. Cheapest "selection" of one sliced cheese and ham, a white bread and croissant, strawberry taste packed sugar jam, orange taste sugar juice and a few boiled eggs. No vegetables at all. Canned peach slices. It is very poor for the price.

The  breakfast was a joke

One of the best hotels I’ve been to in Santorini in this price category. The location is perfect, it’s good price, the staff is so friendly and helpful and make you feel really welcome. The room is clean and the beds are good. Can’t find any negative to say about this lovely hotel.

Great hotel with friendly staff

This is a perfect hotel. 
Staff all very friendly helpful clean -tidy -bright room fresh bedding. Bathroom the same fresh towels everyday 
Breakfast is good for the start of your day and can eat plenty 
Centre shops restaurant across from the road 
Bus station around corner goes to every beach 
Cheap to travel 
Town all beaches big very busy. Due to COVID!!! 
 Would book this again perfect !! 

4 Day stay 

We stayed here for 3 nights on a trip of a few Greek islands.  The hotel is quite basic but was exactly what we needed, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly at all times.  The hotel had a quite large pool that you could use to cool off (as it was very hot in Santorini when we went this was great),  The location was perfect for what we needed, as we were there for a few days and were doing lots it was a few minutes walk from the bus terminal in Thira which we used regularly. The breakfast was basic but substantial so overall we were very happy staying here.

Very helpful staff

Had a lovely stay here for 3 nights, right in the heart of Fira. I arrived just after 8am, rather tired. My room wasn’t ready but I was told to help myself to coffee which was lovely. 
The location of this hotel is perfect. 5 min from the main square, less than 10min to the vista view. The bus station which you can go anywhere from, cheap is less than 5 min away. 
The staff are ever so helpful including the lady managing us all at breakfast. 
The rooms are basic, but the beds are very comfortable and I had a rain shower. Nice. 
I got a transfer from the airport organised by the hotel. Expensive for one with only carry on luggage at €25. In the future I would catch the bus at €1.80. It’s less than 10min away. 
There are great coffee places very close which are a quarter of the price of those on the square/in the tourist area and there is a great little shop/stand opposite which sells water for €0.50. 
Breakfast was continental with some Greek twists. The yogurt is to die for. So creamy. 
My room had a kettle as well but no mug/cup and no tea bags/coffee. Interesting. There was also a fridge and a lovely balcony. 

Great hotel, in the heart of it

Located very near central bus station so transfers to the port are easy;  short walk with your luggage.  Breakfast was adequate, plenty to eat.  Our room wasn't anything like the web site  Dark, small bulb, and only window faced the street; if opened all the traffic noise would enter (it's on a busy street).  The safe didn't work. AC kept us cool.  They didn't tell us Fira water isn't good so we used tap water for teeth and drinking   Two star hotel
