We had a good experience at IRIDA. They were really nice and brought us breakfast. They also were very upfront about any additional charges we incurred like airport transfers and helped us find the bus. I would recommend that you stay here as well.

Good review

We were greeted by incredible hosts who showed us around the pool area and to our room. Our bags were put in our room for us with complimentary wine at the ready. 
Each day our room was impeccably cleaned and tidied while we were out, with new towels and flannels left each day. 
Every morning we called down for breakfast and it was promptly brought to us, with special amendments made for a certain dietary requirement. Eating breakfast against the view of the Caldera felt like we were waking up in a dream every single day. 
Oia gets all of the glory when it comes to reviews about views and places to visit, my partner and I believe that Imerovigli, where Irida is based, is so much better. Imerovigli is higher up than Oia, perfect views of the sunset and a lot quieter with less tourists. We were in walking distance of some absolutely beautiful restaurants with gorgeous food, close to shops and vehicles were close by to hire.
On a couple mornings we set our alarm for 6 am and would walk to the entrance of Irida and watch the sunrise on the other side of the island - just as breathtaking as watching the sun set.
We went on a boat trip and couldn’t believe how high up Irida really is, we were blown away and genuinely felt like we were staying in the most perfect location with the most perfect room.
I am a bit of a sun worshiper and would have loved to have had a sun lounger on the balcony or near the pool but the furniture available was comfortable for sitting and relaxing while looking at the breathtaking views.
Santorini and Irida now have a huge place in our heart and we will definitely be making a return in the near future.

Impeccable, faultless stay

We spent 5 nights in the superior apartment at the end of September and would return in a heartbeat.  Firstly having visited both Fira and Oia during our stay, we really felt we had chosen the right location for us - you get the fabulous caldera views but in a much more tranquil setting.  The views from the apartment really were spectacular, particularly at sunset.  The apartment was bright and airy with a particularly nice style of decor.  Breakfast, a selection from a limited menu, was simple but fresh and tasty.  Katerina and Dimitris are wonderful hosts and couldn’t have been more helpful both before and during our visit.  A few things to be aware of, there are quite a lot of steps involved in getting around the town and it can get quite windy at the apartment given its proximity to the top of the cliff - but all part of having such amazing views so well worth it in our opinion!

Top class accommodation in the best location in Santorini

We stayed in Irida as part of our honeymoon and we were so glad with our decision. The view is just out of this world! It is hard to believe its real every time you sit on your terrace. 

The staff are so friendly and helpful, the pool is a great refresher after a hot day exploring but the private balcony with caldera view is a once in a lifetime experience! 

The local area was perfect. Far enough from thira to get away from the crowds but close enough to walk in. There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby, and even more just a small walk into town. We highly recommend both Imerovigli and Irida!

We stayed in the loft room, just a note re the poor review that room has on here as we were slightly worried after reading it. We are both tall and it's very spacious. We really liked having the bedroom upstairs and a separate downstairs area. It was just so beautiful and perfect for us, thank you so much!

What a view!

This was the second time we stayed at this wonderful hotel in Imerovigli. Dimitri and Katerina are the most gracious hosts you will ever find. They were so helpful in all of our needs from car rentals to laundry to restaurant suggestions. There were 75 of us in Santorini for a wedding but only 10 were able to stay at Irida. Many friends came to our hotel to visit and were blown away by the views, cleanliness and the value of this amazing hotel. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We miss Santorini but also miss the friendliness and sincere desire of the hosts to make our stay as relaxing and stress free as possible.

Irida does it again

Such a beautiful place to stay! The view of the Caldera was so mesmerising that I didn't want to leave! Our loft apartment was super clean and comfortable, the breakfast delivered to our room each morning was delicious and Katerina and Dimitri were lovely hosts, so welcoming and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Irida Apartments to anyone planning to visit Santorini.

Breathtaking Views!

Thanks to the host and the staffs in Irida. Me and my husband went to Santorini for the first time. Their service and helps made our trip more enjoyable. 
Also remember to save a night to see the sunset in Irida, the view is nice.

Highly recommended

The first minute I walked onto the property it took my breath away. This is exactly what I dreamed it would be. We spent 7 incredible nights here for our honeymoon. The view from our balcony was spectacular, and having breakfast delivered every morning was the best way to start the day. The room was always super clean. 

I loved that it is not in a super crowded area. We wanted quiet and calm. The location is great because with a nice 20 min walk, you arrive in Fira. You can even walk to Oia, although it takes just over an hour. You are also walking distance to some really great restaurants. 

The owners are so nice and made our stay that much better. They were so helpful with ideas of what to do on the island, they answered all our questions, and made us feel very special. I was so sad to leave. We will definitely be coming back here one day. 

A dream

We stayed in the Superior Apartment and enjoyed breakfast every morning on the sun filled balcony on one side and enjoyed sunset on other balcony. We visited on a cruise years ago and always wanted to come back. We stayed 7 days and 6 nights in this lovely boutique hotel.  Imerovigli was far enough from Fira that we were not surrounded by the tourists, but close enough to walk for a visit.  We took the walk to Oia as well (long trip but worth it). As we wandered, we realized we were staying in the best location.  We had lovely dinners every night fairly close to Irida based on recommendations from Katerina and Dmitris.  They were great! Dmitris booked us on a Caldera cruise. We ended up being the only couple on a 95' boat with a great captain and crew.  We had a 7 course meal that was the best meal we had the whole week, and we had many great ones.  We had a wonderful trip back to Santorini and Irida was a huge part of it.

Best location in Santorini with wonderful hosts!

First time in Santorini and I am so glad we were able to get an apartment at Irida. Katerina and Dmitris  were the loveliest hosts. The apartment was spotless and well equipped with crockery cutlery and a fridge. Toiletries were provided as was an iron and kettle on request. The views were breathtaking and probably the best we saw in the whole of santorini. There is a hot tub for guests that we got to use with amazing views. Breakfast was provided everyday on the balcony. Nearby there are several bars and restaurants we booked the wine bar restaurant the first night are at the Buddha Bar and the Aegean all within 10 minute walk. Everything about this place is so beautiful I can’t recommend it enough.
