This place is a pit!  Of ALL the beautiful hotels available, I can't believe that Great Value Vacations put me HERE for 3 nights!  On a busy, noisy street with lovely views of construction, giant garbage containers and lots of graffiti!  WTF?!?  Very old, small rooms, tiny shower that you can't even move in, have to drag luggage up and down stairs, no food available other than breakfast.  How are people giving this more than 2-3 stars??  NOT the Santorini experience I was looking for or expecting.  VERY disappointing!  The only positive is that is was a 5 minute walk to the center of Fira...where all the nice hotels are.

2-3 Star Hotel AT BEST

They really went out of their way to assist us. Unfortunately, a member of our family had an accident in Fira (not in the hotel), and they were more than happy to assist in any way possible. They also did a surprise birthday cake for breakfast which was a really nice touch. Thank you for making our stay so special. General hotel is also great, with a really nice pool area. 

Great hotel, with amazing staff in a good location

Beds rock hard may as well sleep on the floor. Roof and shower had mould which isnt good for those who have asthma, shower flooded the bathroom when you used it despite the crap stream of water. No tea/coffee, kettle or even water in room. Dirt on the bathroom floor. Noisy room with traffic and kids. Was dark and small. Would not recommened to anyone.

Stay at own risk

This small hotel is the best home base for exploring Santorini. If you decide not to rent a car, you'll be able to reach all the areas in Santorini by bus. The bus station is only 200 m away! If you want to stroll through Thira, you are at a central place as well.The hotel itself has the kindest, most helpful staff, and the day-staff is also English spoken. The rooms are impeccably clean, and there is also a small fridge in the guest room. The breakfast buffet offers a good variety of food( bread, sweet pieces, cold cuts, cheese, boiled eggs), and you'll be ready to get on your way! There is also a lovely patio with a swimming pool . For persons who have mobility issues it is recommendable that they ask for a room on the ground floor, as there are rooms that can be reached by stairs only. Also, some of the rooms have a sleeping loft, which has steep steps. We would come back to this hospitable, lovely hotel any time we are in Santorini! Efcharisto poli= many thanks!

A very good choice in Thira

We had a fabulous time here at this lovely hotel. The wonderful family owners made our stay extra special, they were super friendly!
In our poolside room verything was perfect from the comfy beds, to the good Wi-Fi.
The sunny pool side loungers were very comfy too. Breakfast was amazing with a comprehensive choice.

Wonderful 4 days!

You can never be too sure what a hotel you have never stayed at before is going to be like but be in no doubt that this is an excellent choice for travellers when visiting this beautiful island. It is a family run hotel and is supremely clean and well appointed with a wide range of excellent fresh items available at breakfast. There is always something home made available at breakfast too and is always the item you must have on your diet ! The family themselves are fully hands on and are all wonderfully friendly and kind people.
A lovely sun trap pool area to relax alongside also makes the stay everything you want.
There is a small bar with a small selection of drinks available 24 hrs but as the hotel is just near enough to enjoy all that Thirra has to offer yet far enough to be quiet, you end up enjoying the many bars  in town.
Will definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends and anyone who visits santorini and hope to return one day.

A very lovely hotel to stay at

We had a great 4 night stay at the Sunrise, from an excellent welcome by Alexander who gave  us a very comprehensive talk about the Island with a map, to  Elena  welcoming us at breakfast who always had a lovely smile.
This is a great family run hotel who go out of their way to welcome you and help you enjoy your stay.
Our rooms were also very comfortable, great housekeeping and we were very lucky as our balconies opened up on the pool area.
Highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. It was also close to the bus station and a short stroll from the main area.

Great stay at the Sunrise.

We just left yesterday .
Was just perfect 
 Location walking distance to the main bus station linking whole island. 
Just back from the main caldera view and all restsurants. Good pool and Lou gets. Clean and best staff ever . Lady at breakfast and the young man on reception was just so informative . Great breakfast

Great hotel in the center of Fira,with friendliest staff ever,rooms are huge and clean,we felt very welcomed and safe
People who work there are always eager to help,their english is good
Breakfast was a bit early starting from 08:00 but it was ok
Our room had exit directly to the swimming pool

Stayed at this Hotel for our trip to Santorini, it is absolutely brilliant, well located in Fira, the staff are wonderful and helpful, pool very good and private, and rooms very well presented, breakfast is very good with a good choice I recommend to stay here to anyone.
