Pyrgou Dirou

A stone house with a medieval feel but with all the modern comforts. The room is spacious, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. 
The ocean view from the terrace is incredible and in the afternoon the sunset is breathtaking. 
I absolutely enjoyed every minute of my stay.
The owners are friendly and they made me feel very welcome and comfortable.
I am already planning my next visit. 

Best hotel in the region 

We totally loved it! The rooms are of impeccable decoration! Each one is different..and they are all amazing! Make sure you have your alarms on if you want to wake up and explore Mani, cause the matresses are extra comfy! I didn't want to get out of bed! There are no words enough to describe the delicious homemade breakfast with local products..The owners bake the most yummy sweets and different omelettes! This family brings to hospitality a new meaning! It was my second time there and a third will certainly follow!

Dream place!

Suited near Areopoli in a quite zone. Perfect to visit Mani, a wonderfull Greak region.
Recently renovated. Fully equipped, lovely and nicely decoreted rooms. Perfect temperature and room ventilation, AC not necessary. Young, enthusiastic, friendly and helpfull owner perfect English speaking. Fantastic, big, tasty, various breakfast in a beautyful shadow patio. Great terrace to watch at the sunset.

LOVING OWNER, GRANDIOUS BREAKFAST

This was a wonderful base for exploring an amazing region.  The hotel is beautifully done up and the view from the deck is spectacular.  I'm saving the best for last, though.  The family who own the hotel are extremely warm and welcoming, and provide a full on feast for breakfast.  It was a pleasure to meet them, and a pleasure to stay there.  

While you're there, it's very worthwhile to go to the Dirou Caves, to eat at the taverna just down the road from the hotel on the way to the caves, and to stock up the local bakery, which may entail having a good chat with the very funny woman who works there!

Cake for breakfast!

Rooms in a renovated tower with a courtyard for your breakfast or your chilling time. The owners are so spontaneous n friendly that you feel the place as your home and yourself part of their family ! They prepare breakfast by original fine greek ingredients (honey, butter, fresh fruits, pies, omelets etc) every single morning. Our room was at the basement. Cozy place with all necessary equipment (most of them quite expensive). However we realized  that apartment in the first floor was far better and bigger. Pets are welcome. Is not a cheap accommodation but it worth it. A bit isolated so you need a car.

We are subdued by the departure of this renovated and tastefully decorated Magne tower. We had the suite at the top of the tower with a private terrace and a sublime sea/sunset view. The place was decorated by our hostess and her daughter who made this place a hotel room that has a soul. Various old and colorful objects were scattered in the common areas and in the rooms. So this place is unique and does not look like anything else. The rooms are comfortable and air-conditioned and very spacious with a small kitchen and a nespresso machine. What about the kindness of our hostess and her son! In the straight line of Greek hospitality.

A Magical Place

It's a beautiful, unique hotel, completely made of stone with large communal spaces and a wonderful view, the owners are amazing, we've been treated like family, and in the evening you come back and sit down at the table with them to have a little chat in front of a glass of wine and a slice of feta... wonderful.

How to Stay Home

We stayed one night in this magnificent hotel! The rooms are comfortable and well furnished, all in stone! The owner speaks only Greek, but there is a son with whom we can communicate in English! In the evening we sat comfortably on the terrace and were offered feta, a bottle of water and the typical Greek liquor!

Hotel located in a typical tower building in the region of Mani, refurbished with taste and style. Spacious, clean and orderly room. Amazing breakfast in the inner courtyard with lots of local delights prepared with passion.

Great hotel in the Peloponnese

More than a hotel, it's a small family-run b&b made from the classic houses built with stone features of these parts. Our room (102) is furnished in an extravagant (but really exceptional) way, with a mirrored closet, a white Toshiba LCD that disconnects with everything else, laced red doors and implements and several strange good taste furniture components.
