A Wonderful Stay at Pension Filitsa On my way to Pylos without a place to stay, I found Pension Filitsa on Google Maps and decided to call. Despite not having a reservation, Petros kindly arranged a room for me and even provided directions nearest bus stop and saved me from longer walk. The room was perfect—reasonably priced, impeccably clean, with fresh white sheets. Petros and Maria has designed the rooms in a charming and ergonomic way, complete with a well-equipped kitchen and all necessary cutlery. During my holiday, I fell ill, and they took exceptional care of me. From the first day, as a solo traveller, I felt at home and safe. The location is ideal, yes it is close to main road so there is car noises but I have never felt annoyed during my stay,just a 5-minute walk to the center and a 7-minute walk to the beach, making it very convenient.Really lovely garden to enjoy a drink. I left Pension Filitsa feeling extremely satisfied and happy. Their genuine care and passion for their work reminded me that there are still wonderful people in the world who do their jobs with heart, not just for money. As Petros wisely said, “Measurement in life is BEAUTY.” I highly recommend Pension Filitsa and look forward to returning.
