Tina's House

We enjoyed our stay in this small but neat room. The property has an amazing view and you can use the adjoining hotel’s infinity pool if you buy a drink. 

The host was very friendly and even gave us a bottle of olive oil from her family farm!

Note that this isn’t a good option if you don’t have a car, as the village is down a very steep road - not far in distance, but quite a climb!

The hotel is locacted on the end of the Village of Pylos. Enough parking area and a brillant view makes the start and arriving easy. The hotel offers quiet and clean Rooms. We hat dinner from the menu - just fine. The pool area in the evening ist marvelouis. A nice walk to the "City" is full of places to make some photos. The Village offers enough to spend time there.

Stayed here for 2 nights in a studio on the upper floor with a sea view. Fantastic view over the bay. Nice room with comfy bed and aircon. We went into town and got a takeaway breakfast and sat on our balcony as didn't rate the Philip Restaurant as had eaten there before.

A nice Guest House just before Pylos.
We booked a room with sea view (a bit more expensive), and we weren't disappointed. The view of Pylos and the all bay is magnificient from the private balcony.
Having a car is almost necessary, since you are a bit before Pylos village but you could ( if you dare) go to the village on foot by walking along the road.
Rooms are spacious and clean and come with mosquito nests, which may come in handy.
Tina's House is joint to the Philip Hotel where, if you decide, you will take your breakfast. Only "negative" point is the breakfast ( 8euros) that is not a buffet but served directly to your table, even though it is a quite consequent one : Sunnyside egg, sausage, a bit of cheese and ham, tomato slices, orange cake and bread and marmelade.

The room clean, modern with an extra comfortable bed.
But what is out of this world is the view from the balcony. You have a perfect view of Pylos town and the small island opposite. Have a coffee as the sun goes down in front of you and believe it or not the sunset here is better than Oia Santorini.

Sea view of Pylos

The View!

Stunning View

We spent just one night there. Rooms are clean, with basic furniture. It is cheap but you have ( at least our room) a wonderful view on the bay that you pay with a very noisy road below your windows. It is not so easy to find, you must search for the hotel that is below Tina's house that belongs to the same family. You can have a breakfast there ( in the restaurant of the hotel) but you have to pay separately. If you are looking for a cheap solution ok, but nothing more.
