We had a great time in our last day in Mykonos. The place is simply beautiful, free comfortable sun chairs with a nice view on a small cliff in front of the sea (and also a nice pool in front of the bar). Great drinks and nice food, excellent and friendly service (thanks to Nina!). Most of all absolutely fair and reasonable prices for such good service. Worth it a day in here! 

We stayed at a Paraga for 2 nights in the mixed dorms. Had a really fun time and went along to beach club Tropicana which was so good. The dorms were nice enough and clean. Showers were lovely, some of the nicest hostel showers I’ve been in. 
Staff were nice to us even though we messed up our booking.
We moved elsewhere in Mykonos and then decided to come back to Paraga as we had such a nice time. 
Would definitely come back. And as for rewiews regarding ‘concentration camp and refugee camps” this is horrifically disrespectful.

Just returned from our 4 night stay at Paraga beach hostel. After reading the plenty of negative comments below we were very pleasantly surprised! We got upgraded to a better room, which was very clean by the way. The shared facilities such as toilets and shower cabins could use some refurb, but was acceptable overall. The location of the hostel is stunning, it has its own pool area, bar and restaurant, not even mentioning the clear blue sea being just outside our door. Not an outstanding place, but for what we paid, we couldn't have been happier!

I came here with a friend and we were surprised of the beauty of this hostel. We payed only 25€ pro person and we had a bungalow with 2 beds (not amazing but enough), but the hostel offered many things (free sun beds, a pool, access to the see,...). The personal is really king and always ready to help!
Only one thing disturbed us, and it was the quantity of trash at the bar. We ordered something to eat and to drink and everything was in plastic. Mykonos it’s a windy place it can happen that trash fly away and it’s not so cool...

Great few days on a budget

Really nice and friendly but a lot of trash

A day at the sea

Really fun hostel, great place to go

I stayed here on the first week of June for a couple of days. The free shuttle to/from the port is great, I did have a bit of a miscommunication with them trying to figure out where they picked up passengers from. 

Location is great, right on the beach and close to the bus stop back into town. The pool is also pretty cool but I'd rather just walk down the steps and swim in the sea instead.

I stayed in a private room and it is pretty basic, it's almost like army barracks with a fan. There is no a/c, luckily it wasn't too hot when I was there. Also another issue is that the fan is using the only outlet in the tent. The washroom and shower facilities were alright but the toilets were always out of toilet paper. I'm lucky that I had some on hand from my last stop. There's also a store next door which is pretty pricey also but at least the water and beer was cheap.

Like others posted it is expensive but I'm sure they get away with it because there isn't much else in the area for hostels. I'm happy I decided to splurge and stay in a hotel up the hill after a couple of days.

Great location but basic

They offer transfer from port and airport, the hostel has a beautiful sea view in front of the pool, the bus stop is in front and the parties beside, but the room has no air condition (are you ready to sweat?), the toilet is a little bit far and has not enough plugs to charge everyone's phone.
If you have a young spirit and just want to party and make new friends this place is ideal, otherwise pick somewhere else.

Beautiful, but a bit uncomfortable

The facilities on hand were excellent and second to none. The pool area was very nice and spacious, perfect for a relaxed day and meeting fellow guests. The bar was overpriced, however this is the case for all of Mykonos island. The on-site convenience store was very useful and well stocked. The private area of the beach was also very nice alternative to the salt water swimming pool.

As for the accommodation itself, without a doubt the worst experience of my life. The series of rooms across the resort are something I can only compare to UNICEF huts at refugee camps. No Air Conditioning in a climate that regularly experiences temperatures in excess of 35 Degrees Celsius should be a crime against humanity. One fan that does not spin around the room to accommodate four people per hut is almost insulting. 

The shared toilets and showers were disgusting, I have video evidence of human faeces in one of the shower cubicles, I would provide with this review however it would only end up with my review being deleted and account being reported. 

In short, if hygiene and sleep aren’t important concerns in life, this is the place for you.

A nice hostel if you don’t actually stay overnight here

This place rather disappointed me. It has a lovely swimming pool, is at a nice beach and they provide free transfer from port/airport, but:
1. The place is called "Paraga Beach Hostel and Camping", so when I booked a "Double private ROOM" (which was quite expensive by the way), I expected to be hosted in a hostel (building), and we were given a tent (with metallic structure), which means no air conditioning, no wardrobe and no access to fridge. As I booked a ROOM in a website where HOSTELS are offered, I assumed I wasn't booking at the camping area. As for what I have seen, there is no other area but camping. 
The weather was very windy which made sleeping in the tent an absolute hell.  I came from a long trip and my luggage wasn't prepared for camping. I had to ask for a hair dryer and they couldn't lend me one because it had been stolen, so I couldn't shower at night. Please, don't call this "Hostel", it is just a camping. 
2. You are asked to leave a refundable 10€ fee to be given the key of your tent and I had to buy a locker myself to leave some of my personal belongings in a small box inside the tent. There was wifi at public spaces only, not at the tent area and there are restrictions if you intend to bring your own food as it can't be consumed in public spaces.
This place might be OK for many people, but I find it expensive for what it is and they should clarify what they offer. NOT HOSTEL, JUST A CAMPING.

Not Hostel, just a Camping

This was probably the worst hostel I’ve stayed at out of 30+ others. The location was good, 
a beautiful view from the common area onto the beach, and 24 hour security. The rest was trash. The staff were not friendly or helpful the least bit. I would often see staff fighting like literal yelling matches among each other. There was one older staff guy who was SO CREEPY constantly trying to hug young girls and lying about drink prices during “happy hour”. The only spot where WiFi slightly works is right outside the check in station. The cabin was so hot and the sheets were stained and the floor was covered in sand. Oh and the blasting music was horrific. Every day constantly going you could hear it across the entire property. You can only sit on the beach chairs or around the pool if you buy drinks which are crazy overpriced and taste soooo bad. You can only sit in designated spots in the common area because they are always forcing you to purchase something. No towels only available for purchase, the bathrooms are very far from the cabin. Only stay here if this is your LAST RESORT. I would have rather spent an extra 50 euro for a better place. :/

Not a typical hostel. 

stayed one night with ants, mosquitos, superhot room, next morning with itchy red body from bugs. very loud music all night. worst of all the owner old guy was rude , charged me from the bar a plastic cup with little ice. next time i would pay little more and stay in a decent respectful place.
