52 reviewsWe stayed in Spitakia 3 which has a great roof terrace with spectacular views. The old stone cottages are sympathetically converted and are comfortable with all mod cons. The owner, George, is knowledgeable about the natural history of the area, helpful and will lead walks to places of interest. He can also provide breakfast. Avgonymna is a very attractive village a few kilometres from the west coast and some beautiful beaches. It is convenient for Chios Town and visiting other places on the island. A hire vehicle is a must as the bus service almost non-existent.
