Anna

I stayed at Anna for most of the month of August. I had a wonderful time. The studios are very clean, kitchenette facilities, balconies that face the sea and the mountains, air conditioning and the rooms are cleaned regularly. But best part is the location. It is right across the street from the sea, and near enough the small area of restaurants and mini markets. The bus stop is right near by so you can go to other areas like Kampos, Thimiana or Karfas, very easily. You can also go to Chios town by bus as well. The owners Anna and Matheus made me feel like I was part of their family. If I needed anything, they were always available. Make sure you stay with them. There is a man who owns some of the studios and I do not recommend staying with him. Stay with Anna and Matheus. The rates are very reasonable for the high season in Chios. They prefer cash as most pensione type places on the islands do. So be prepared to pay in cash. The beach is lovely. Right across from Anna, there is quiet rocky strip that I went to daily. Bring rock shoes, or you can buy some at the mini markets. The larger beach right there as well, across the street has sand and is beautiful. If you like to run, it is a great area to go running too, as you can go up into the mountain area from there. Enjoy, and I really recommend Anna Rooms in Megas Limionas, Chios.
