Wonderfull place! We, three couples, spent 2 days here in October 2024. The rooms are very clean, big and quiet. The beds and lining are very comfortable. Beautiful village 15 min of walk with a lot of taverns. The breakfast pf only 6 euros for person is delicious!
The place is very highly recommended!

WE were in a nice room with a fireplace and a small kitchenette
All was clean and warm in the middle of winter. Value for money and a very welcoming host complete the picture. Situated a little outside the village of Palios Panteleimon with a very comfortable car access.

We visited during the Fall. The place consisted of little stone buildings that each held a couple of rooms. Our room was nice and quite charming. Looking out the windows, we saw the forest and in the distance the sea.

The room had a full kitchen that looked clean and fairly nice. We didn't use the kitchen because we ate at the nearby town in the evening, which was very nice, and bought breakfast from the property. Why pay to cook when we had such great options at a reasonable price? Get the breakfast, it is well worth it..

The location was great. As mentioned, we were nestled into the mountains. And yet, it was a short walk to the quaint town. It is a bit of a drive up from the main town by the sea. But it was a reasonable drive to hiking trails.

We had good parking in the Fall, but the lower lot by the houses only held enough spaces for a few vehicles. Walking down from the top parking lot works fine, but it would be a bit inconvenient if you're carrying a lot of luggage. 

The bed, although fairly comfortable, was an older spring mattress. It worked fine, but an upgrade would be nice. The wifi was also a bit finicky. We had a family room. the second bed was on a platform that made use of the high ceilings. On the platform, the ceilings were a bit low for an adult. But they would have been perfect for kis.

And finally, Kostas, the host, was a delight. We chatted quite a bit, and he gave good recommendations. He also provided quite a bit of enjoyable talk while he made breakfast for us.

Highly recommended!

This place really is excellent. The setting is perfect, you are high up on a mountain with panoramic views all the way to the sea. 

The place you stay is made up of a series of stone buildings around a central courtyard. The room we stayed in and the development itself was excellent:

Wooden window shutters so you don't get woken up by the sun
large comfy bed
sofa
balcony with views down the mountain to the sea
seating areas in the courtyard and in front of the buildings 
The interior of the rooms are tastefully decorated featuring exposed wooden beams etc. very well maintained and put together.

...but without doubt the best thing about this place is Kostas (your host). I've never met such a friendly, helpful and cheerful guy. He literally couldn't do more to help us. To give you an example, he offered to lend us money to go to a restaurant as we arrived with no cash...amazing.

As for the general surroundings, there is a village nearby which is lovely and has some excellent cafes/restaurants.

All in all I couldn't recommend this place enough. I will be going back when I get the opportunity.

One small point to note is that although the place has wifi the connection is a bit hit or miss. I suspect this is the connection to the village in general rather than this particular hotel as other places in the village had the same problem. It is up a mountain after all!

Nature!!! Everything simple k earthy.
The rooms spacious and clean. Located on the lower part of mount Olympous, you are in a place perfect for hiking. The views breath taking. over looking the Agean sea and a cost line,long as far you eyes can see. The village of Platamonas it self, picture perfect. Walking through the little side streets and finally reach the square of the town, you can't help, but to thing that you are in the place where the ancient Greek gods used to live.
And in the middle of all, you have to deal with host which is giving his heart out, so your visit is as pleasant it can be. When you living the place you now you leaving a friend behind and that alone is making you feel sad. As for the price, is definitely unbeatable. Worth every penny.

Owners family is very friendly and helpful. Good place to stay with small kids, because they will find instant playmate from owners son. Within walking distance are many excellent taverns to take dinner with small kids.
