One traditional old (more than one century) house,very well restored,with fabulous lobby and very good rooms,is situated at the end of the nice seaside.At the first floor there are five top rooms with balcony and spectacular sea view of Poros island and until cape Sounion (!).The rests are in ground floor.Very clean property, excellent beds,silent A/C and fridge.Beach for swimming just outside,nice surrounding area,close to the center and the port,but not noisy.Are overpriced (52-60 € the good ones,without breakfast) for METHANA area,because the cost of life in this peninsula is very low.Very problematical Wi fi .Recomanded,if you accept the price.For me,is the best in METHANA.

THE BEST IN METHANA,BUT OVERPRICED 

Everything was great: a cozy old house, cozy rooms, friendly hosts, excellent breakfast, a closed courtyard, the proximity to the sea and the price-quality ratio.

It's a great place.

The house, which Emilia personally runs, boasts a quiet and direct beach. The renovated house offers a Greek ambience, quiet rooms (with shower and toilet) with comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast with local products that can be taken in the shady courtyard. The location is very suitable for visiting the area as well as the adjacent island. The recommended hotel offers a very good price-performance ratio and is an ideal accommodation for those looking for rest.

Recommended accommodation right on the beach

When we arrived, we were told that our reservation was upgraded because of some last-minute cancellations, and we were offered a room with a better view. Beautiful place, warm and welcoming, one of the oldest houses in the area that was built at the beginning of the 20th century by a very interesting woman, ancestor of the family that owns the hotel. Quiet, clean, good vibes everywhere. Common room with fireplace and board games, a quiet backyard where you can take a beautiful handmade breakfast. All in all a very nice experience, would definitely go again.

Excellent

Akti Studios is an excellent place to stay any every occasion. It is a fully renovated old stone mansion. Rooms are spacious. The couple that owns the place is more than helpful. They answer all of our questions and they tried their best so we will have a memorable staying. Breakfast is excellent and highly recommended. Pets are more than welcome!

Excellent place!

When we got caught in a storm, Amelia welcomed us in to her lovely family run hotel. With beautiful sea views and original features it made for a lovely stay. The breakfast was fresh, the rooms clean and the location great for exploring the area. She arranged car hire and insured all our needs were met. We can’t thank her and her husband enough for all they did for us. 

Charming hotel with fantastic hosts

We spent a week in this charming little hotel that is off the beaten track but still in walking distance to bars and restaurants. 

Emilia and Panos were perfect hosts and very helpful with tips! 

Every day started with a fantastic breakfast where we sat around a big table either in the courtyard or with Emilia in her lovely kitchen. All the rooms are different and individually designed. Our room was bright and friendly with a little balcony and seaview. 

We had a fantastic time and hope to go back soon!

Charming Hideaway, perfect hosts

One of the most beautiful, comfortable and great interior design aesthetics, by a young couple who love what they are doing! 
Simplicity and professionalism, coincide the couple polite manners towards each guest. They make you feel at home but keeping a discrete presence., 

Comfy rooms, clean maintaining and respecting the originality of the building its history, whilst the roots. 

Methana was a pleasant surprise since we never visited before and captured our hearts. A great place to relax, rest, enjoy the beach and good food while pulling yourself back together. 
Ask the owner couple about the nearby natural hot bath by the seaside... a unique surprise!

Amazing Hotel, beautiful People!

Greatly restored traditional building by the sea.Amazing view is just one of the assets. 
Very nice and clean. Friendly host , enjoyed the breakfast at the courtyard with her. I would definitely recommend it or visit them again.

A very nice surprise

AKTI HOTEL is located just a few meters from the beach not far from the centre of Methana and the ferry landing dock from Athens. The building is one of the best preserved and offers its typical charm of the early twentieth century to passing guests. Emilia welcomed us in all simplicity and advised on the right plans. We found the spacious, well equipped room, and the magnificent view.
