staff speaks Greek and  English, very clean,  nice pool, near lots of restaurants shops 
 1st floor is the best level to stay at

its up a very steep hill I didn't really like that though but overall it was an amazing place to stay

These are a small family run block of 8 apartments. Four studios on the bottom, 2 apartments on each the first and second floor. Each balcony faces out towards the pool and amazing views of Zakynthos.

There is no on site entertainment or bar etc, so if thats your bag, you should look elsewhere. If however you want to quietly read a book by the pool with the occasional dip, then you will have a ball. The grounds are well maintained, the pool isnt huge but large enough.

Rooms are fairly modern and there is free wi-fi. Cooking is a bit of a challenge for anything more ambitious than a one pot wonder. Rooms are serviced (linen, towels and cleaned) every other day - sometimes every 3rd day. Air-con costs you an additional €5 per day. We had a late flight and were allowed the room until 1700 at no extra charge.

The apartments next door has a snack bar which you are able to use, though with your patio a 30 second walk away, more than likely you will make use of that more than anything else, once you are stocked up from the supermarket, which is about a 15min walk away. There are 3 taverna's in walking distance - two of which you can get there under 10mins. Theres a creperie/pancake place for coffee etc and a scooter & quad rental that I would recommend too.

Whilst the balconies all face the pool & sea for great views, it does mean that when young families come in August, theres little escape from the noise of playing children, even from the sanctuary of your own balcony. This is not a criticism or me being grumpy, just a factual observation and one you should expect for school holidays.

Trapezaki is a fairly quiet resort - and very hilly. You can get a bus to the larger Lourdas from the stop around a 10min walk away. Trapezaki beach is walkable on the way down, wouldn't fancy it on the way up, though again, you can bus it up. I would highly recommend a car or scooter if you plan staying here more than a week and wish to do some travelling as walking up and down hills in the mid 30s is not pleasant.

Overall, these apartments are well cared for, clean and quiet. Very relaxing stay and I liked that the owner was there to greet us, even for a very late arrival time. Will look to come back here again.

If you're looking for accommodation with a lively pool bar open all hours, don't come to Star Studios. However, if you're looking for a quiet and peaceful base close to excellent beaches and with two excellent tavernas a mere five-minute walk away, Star Studios certainly fit the bill. We spent two weeks in a simple, clean and comfortable ground floor studio. Our terrace was just a few steps from the spotless and well-maintained pool, with views across the water to Zakynthos. Highly recommended.
PS. This was our first trip to Kefalonia. It is a stunningly beautiful island well worth exploring. Car hire (at least for a few days) is well worth it.

We stayed for a week here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The accommodation is fairly basic but clean, comfortable and quiet. The garden and pool area are well maintained and provide great views over to Zakynthos. The studios are several hundred metres away from the little road that passes through Trapezaki, so when you're relaxing by the pool you don't even hear traffic noise. 

As others have said, it's a quiet area but it does have two very good restaurants just 5-10 minutes' walk away. A bit further away, down a steep hill, there's a lovely, unspoilt beach. (There are other beaches nearby but they're much more commercialised.) There's also a supermarket, and a bus service into the main town on Kefalonia (Argostoli), so a car isn't essential but might be very helpful for people with mobility difficulties.

The hosts are kind and welcoming. On our departure day, because the place wasn't too busy, we were allowed to keep our room until late at no extra cost, which was much appreciated. (Thanks Paniotis!) We'd definitely return to Star Studios.

We spent an amazing week here in July, apartments are spacious and clean and the gardens and pool are well kept and looked after by the family every day. 
The apartments are set up the side of a hill but to be fair the whole are is pretty hilly and may not be the best area for any one with trouble walking.
The area is quiet and is lacking pubs and clubs but has several really good restaurants with amazing food.
So if your after nightlife and pumping music this isn't the part 9f the island for you but for anyone that's after a relaxing, idyllic area, this is a great area and apartments for you.

Just returned from a week at the Star Studios - absolutely beautiful! We were in a top floor apartment and the view from the balcony was second to none - stunning. The apartment was large and comfortable and the grounds were kept impeccably. A car to see the island is definitely worthwhile. Would certainly recommend the Star Studios

We have just returned from our 14 nights at the Star Studios and have had the most amazing time.  The balconies are huge and have spectacular views. They are kept beautifully clean and the pool area and gardens are peaceful. The family are always working extremely hard and keep the place immaculate. It was lovely to receive a leaving gift of their local honey.  This was the first time we felt we really didn't want to go home! Thank you.

An amazing holiday at the Star Studios

Amazing

The star studios are basic self catering apartments situated in a beautiful area with a lovely pool and well kept gardens. However they are on a steep hill which if you have difficulties walking then you may have problems. We found Lourdes beach better than Trapezaki beach which is nearer but Lourdes’s is a bus or taxi ride away or half an hour to walk. Gefiri restaurant is just down the hill serving lovely food but we found the olive in lourdas to be the best. A couple of boat trips one to fiscardo and another in the glass bottomed boat were excellent days out. 
Back to the studios- they are very basic a small two ring hob a kettle and a fridge no oven no toaster so if you are expecting to cook meals then you may have difficulty. The nearest supermarket is a bit of a trek best to go early morning when it’s not so hot. The sheets and towels are changed every three days but bins are emptied daily. The beds in the studios are twin beds with uncomfortable mattresses so if you are wanting romance or more then they are certainly not the studios for you !
It is very quiet so if you want complete peace and quiet then the studios are excellent for that. The jet2 rep was available if you need her for trips or information. 
All in all a good holiday fantastic area beautiful weather and good food.
