ESPERIDES

Very friendly family run hotel. Warm and cosy with a fire place and plenty of fire wood. We were welcomed with a local home made "tsipouro" to warm us up. At breakfast we had home made cakes and home made jam together with local honey and other goodies.

Mountain break 

Before even starting - chek previous reviews and owner answers to them and you will see how they are treating their customers. I am ski instructor and was looking to have place for long term. The location and nature around is amazing, rooms looks beautiful - but that is it. Don't get played like, I was, with external image. I keep my language, but this place is s**t, and owners are inside that pile together. 
1. Signal. Entering the room first thing checked the signal. No phone signal at all (no cosmote, wind or vodafone - nothing) so forget internet. You will need to walk to reception to have a call, or even write message. By seeing that owner said - we know the problem, we are trying to fix it. But if you want internet you leave place now (understanding that nothing will change) and in few months nothing changed just constant lies. And imagine I work online and i go in evening to the reception and there is no on there as owners leave the place without any knowledge. So you stand outside reception in cold if you want to catch any signal.
2. Heating/water. This is from horror stories and i have been in a lot of places. You come back from mountain and there is not just no hot water. There is no water at all!!! Going to reception (150 through snow, uncleaned path) lady gives excuses that her grandkids were playing and turned it of! The hell?? It happened myltiple times and in the end i just realised that she turnes that of on purpose (?!!). Hot water and heating the same. Almost every time had to beg turn it on all cold, wet and tired from mountain. This is beyond. And treatment of owners was really low - lots of lies and complains that we use a lot of heating, meanwhile i work all day on the mountain, i am not even there.
3. Tzaki (fireplace) always gets smoke inside. Wind blowing through door and windows. Unfinished exterior and parking place. Owners are not there to help you out with problems.
4. Owners asked us to move out for weekend as they had a wedding.  I do understand business, so was willing to cooperate. But they didn't compensate the weekend stay in other place and still took all the payment of the month. 

We end up moving to amazing Sperchos with most hospiable owners ever. Couldn't be more happy. 
If you can stay away from this place, please do that. It will ruin your nerves and also take money for services they don't provide. All thos lies are just disgusting.

Not recomended

We have being there for work and sadly we had to manage with not so common problems…
First of all I have to say about the lack of heating with in the rooms even when the cold was -10 outside . Fireplace poorly build that allows all the smoke to come inside the house.
Secondly about the lack of internet and signal on the phone, so if by any chance you want to go there for work is a straight forward NO!
Thirdly and most serious.Zero covid restrictions.Not even the owners wear masks.Also cleaning of the rooms was terrible and minimum.
I don’t suggest to try the cuisine is such an environment…
The problems in the residence was numerous and with the owners not willing to help at all having ridiculous explanations about everything and ending the conversation always with the moto “ it is what it is! If you don’t like it you are free to go!”
Poor residence to stay without the owners ability to help or even listen to the main problems of the property!
Spend your money somewhere else. 
Clearly not value for money 
Save your nerves with these owners!
