Dropped off on the busy main road with very vague directions from the coach driver & spent 20mins trying to find it!! No fault of the hotel though.... Luckily its on the lower sea road & away from all the noise & traffic. Artemis arrived & gave us a warm welcome - throughout our stay she was very helpful, friendly & warm. We had a basic breakfast every morning which was fine to start the day! I booked in with my 10yr old daughter & was given a room on the top floor facing the sea. True, its fairly typical of Greek accommodation - basic but v clean with everything we needed. The location though is excellent for all the restaurants or bars locally. Very vibrant nightlife, if you want it, or alternatively a relaxing time. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday & i wouldnt hesitate in booking there again. As is said earlier, its location is excellent for all you might need. we caught a bus from the main street every morning & travelled to different beaches every day along the coast - fabulous! My 11 year old loved all the different restaurants on the lower coast rd in Hersonnisos & welcomed every evening with a smile!! We were both sad to leave!! Enjoy your holiday, but don't get too 'American' about the rooms or all the 'mod cons'- just explore!!
