Just back from a week in Silvia Apartments. Had a fantastic time. The apartments are very clean and comfortable. The pool area is spotless. The staff are very helpful. You can buy food and drinks at the bar. A big thank you to Yiannis for looking after us so well. Perfect base for the madness of Hersonisos or the beautiful Koutouloufari and Piskopiano. Hotel is situated between the main resort and the villages.  

We are here now we have a lovely room ground floor with our own patio and garden spotlessly clean and anything you need just ask sylvia is amazing made us so welcome we are here for 2 weeks we've been in the village which is beautiful and on the sea front weather is amazing can't wait to come back already 


Checking out today and can honestly say I had the best time! Yanni and Angela will do all they can to make your stay more comfortable! Pool is spotless and grounds are just beautiful.
We had room 403 which has a lovely view! No sun at all but that’s what we like! I can recommend the chicken club sandwiches! They were delish! Perfect location! 10mins downhill to Hersonnisos and 10 mins up to our fave Koutouloufari!  Thanks for a great 2 weeks guys!!

Stayed here as a couple in room 505.
This room is at the top end of the accomodation-amazing views of the sea-best we've ever had!
Really quiet and private.
Can take a short cut up to the villages through the car park. 
The gardens are really lovely and very well kept.
We stayed on bed and breakfast basis and it was fine.
Apartments are better than other Greek ones we've stayed in-although still very Greek!
Just two hot plates,kettle, pots and pans,cutlery and crockery-but with so many lovely places to eat just up or down the hill we didn't need to cook!
Staff very friendly.
Towels changed roughly every 3 days-bins emptied every day.
Would recommend this place 100%

Just returned from a 10 night stay here. Rooms basic but clean. We had room 101 which was ideal as it was right near the pool where we spent most of our time.  Angela and Yannis in the bar area both very helpful and friendly. We ate lunch there every day, good selection and cheap enough.
No problem with sunbeds, plenty of them everyday.
Turn right out of the hotel and up the hill to the village. Lovely tavernas, we ate at a different one every  night and didn't have a bad meal.
Would definately recommend.

We arrived late but greeted with a warm welcome from Angela. Room clean and roomy, linen changed every 3 days, bins daily with cheery maids. Pool area, sunbeds a plenty, food and drinks good with Yanni working non stop with a smile. Landscaped gardens and just 10 minutes uphill to Koutouloufari village, many tavernas or 10 minutes downhill to lovely beaches and supermarket. Approx 30 minutes to airport.  Sylvia and owner always about and helpful and polite. Mix at hotel English and Dutch, who get on well. Highly recommended will be visiting again

This was an ideally located place to stay if you want tranquil and party holiday 
Sylvia  and team were very friendly and helpful with local knowledge, the bar and pool area was clean friendly and had a family atmosphere the food and drink was reasonably priced
The rooms was basic but clean air and as extra and late check out was available

Cannot fault the hotel or the staff. We were pleased with the room, it had 2 single beds in the kitchen area and 2 singles (pushed together) in the main bedroom. The apartment was clean and tidy, we had new towels and bed sheets 3 times changed over 11 nights stay. The bins are emptied every day. The pool area is big enough for everyone, there are overflow beds on the grass area ( we avoided this area due to mozzie bites). The gardens around the hotel are in great well kept conditions, the colours are beautiful, even the water fountain is well kept and clear, we really cannot fault the hotel. Sylvia herself ( obviously the owner) is so friendly and hard working, she will do everything possible to make your stay the best she can. Angela was on the night shift and was there every evening if ever you needed anything, all the staff are amazing and friendly, cannot fault any of them. We had 1 evening where someone close was playing loud music at midnight and Angela sorted it out instantly. We found the double glazing worked really well and kept any outside noises out. The hotel is perfectly situated for us, it's halfway up the hill, you get 10-15 minutes walk to the beach or 10 minutes to walk to the first of 3 villages above. We didn't have a bad meal anywhere in the villages, the only downside was the lures asking you to look at the menu, I find it very annoying. We ate at Sylvia's hotel a few nights as the food was of great quality, the sizes of the plates are huge and very reasonably priced too. You can even order and take the food back to your apartment if you wish. Honestly we cannot find a fault with hotel Sylvia. 
The only issue we had on this holiday had nothing to with the hotel, it was the amount of 18-30,s around all of Hersonnosis, many gang's of boys and girls everywhere, we had no issues with them, Hersonnosis is very busy with youngsters during July and August. This will be obvious for most but it took us by surprise, we will return but in the quieter months. 

When we arrived we didn't expect too much from the rooms after reading previous reviews, but were pleasantly surprised.   The rooms were basic that is true, and the self catering is really only suitable for tea/coffee/toast plus some very basic items.

However, the rooms were clean and tidy, the bedlinen was changed every few days and Sylvia was happy for us to order food from the pool bar and take it to our apartment to eat (along with salt/vinegar and sauces).  It made eating at the apartment, which we did on several ocassions, very reasonable.

The grounds are kept immaculate and are very pretty, and the pool itself was lovely, 2.6m deep at one end and 80cm in the shallow end, with a separate toddler pool.

We paid for Breakfast as part of our deal and it was lovely, there is plenty for every taste, sausages, eggs, bacon, toast, fruit, cereals, pastries, ham, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, yoghurt, tea coffee and fresh juice. 

Eating out wise, we did eat down at Nikos family restaurant twice, but mostly we ate up the hill at various tavernas and Beijing to Bali chinese which was AMAZING. Most restaurants prices for a family of 4 with drinks/starters/mains was around 100 euro, so having the option of eating at home (around 30 euro total) was definitely a plus.

Fantastic Holiday

Great stay here. But if a treck uphill but ideal location for the old villages and into hersonnisos. About 15 mins to old towns and 10 min to star beach and another 20 onto the main port area. 

Lovely and clean though basic if actually wanting to cook which we didn’t. Air con is a must at €10 per day but safe was free and tourist tax far cheaper than I paid last year in Greece so balanced out (€10.50 for family of four for week). 

Poor nice, can always get a bed which is great. Pool bar prices also very reasonable. 

Mix of families and Dutch/German teens - all well behaved and sorrry to say but nothing like groups of English 18-25 year olds. They were very respectful and I would defo not let them put you off.

Sylvia is very nice.

We used mainly as a base. The hill is an effort though so good mobility is a must! 

Check out Saradari beach -€10 taxi and it’s actually St George’s bay where all the boats take you! 

This is a stunning and well maintained complex. The grass is watered and cut regularly. I stayed in apartment 201 and I had a stunning sea view from my patio.
The rooms are one of the biggest I have stayed in compared to most apartment complexes of the same rating. They are typically Greek but the bathrooms could definitely do with an update.
The pool bar does hot and cold snacks as well as breakfast.
Silvia,  Yannis and Angela are all amazing people who will do anything to help. 
Yannis deserves a special mention. A really good guy who remembers names which is a great personal touch.
There is a huge pool with lots of beds so no concerns about that.
Unfortunately the last 2 days of my holiday was affected by a group of young Dutch lads who took over the pool by diving in (badly) and playing ball games down the whole length if the pool  so was difficult for anyone else to have a swim.
The complex is on a steep hill halfway between Hersonissos and Koutouloufari and the entire complex is on a hill so anyone with walking difficulties really needs to keep this in mind.
The hotel does have a large car park so it is handy if a car is hired.
The only thing that might stop me returning to this hotel is the hills but taxis are always available and only €8 up into Koutouloufari ( July '23 ).

Stayed for a fortnight in Room 107 overlooking the pool. The apartment was a nice size with a beautiful view over the pool and down to the sea. Yannis and Angela are very helpful and made the stay comfortable. The bar and food are very reasonably priced. We like to get out and explore on holiday, but we had a couple of chill out days around the pool and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. We’d recommend this place and would stay again.
