We stayed for  2 weeks in the apartment which has amazing views and is very spacious, well equipped even with a washing machine. Fab location, we all get used to the steps but there is a road route too. In the bay 2 or 3 great beach bars and restaurants all serving food much better than most of Greece. We used taxi’s to get around - no where is more than €25. Also took a boat out thanks to Al and Kitty’s recommendation. Booking for next year….

Stayed for 7 days at Asterias, with breathtaking views and a beautifully decorated apartment. Al and Kitty are welcoming and on hand to advise on restaurants, taxis, car hire and trips.

Location was fantastic - with restaurants and Panteli beach close by. It was also a 15 minute easy walk into Agia Marina. Our son appreciated the beach balls and snorkeling masks he could borrow.

I cannot recommend Asterias enough ! This was the most perfect stay on Leros and we could have quite happily shipped our lives out and lived in the gorgeously decorated apartment number 5 forever. The views are a dream, and the location was fantastic - with restaurants in Panteli close by along with the beautiful beach itself. It’s an easy walk into Platanos and Agia Marina too with more options to eat, coffee shops, bakers and supermarkets. The kitchen is well equipped and having a washing machine was incredibly handy too. There are a lot of stairs - 70 something - so it’s not for those with mobility issues - but by the end of the trip I felt fitter for them. Al and Kitty are kind and accommodating hosts, and have great recommendations on everything - they even organised the absolute highlight of our holiday which was a speed boat to Archangelos. Amazing ! 💙

Superb apartment.  We were in number 5 which had a separate bedroom to the living area and two bathrooms!! It also had a washing machine which was an unexpected bonus (I understand from Al this is the only apartment with one tho).  Absolutely spotless, rubbish removed daily and a 'mini clean' at the 3 day point when towels were changed as well - full clean at day 5 or 6.  Furnishings very tastful (down to Kitty obviously!  Towels deserve a mention because they were lovely - not your bog standard hotel style white ones - these were definitely upmarket from that, different every time they were changed and they had 'inbuilt hooks' so they didn't decorate the floor as so often happens. Bed was queen size and very comfortable.  Comprehensive exchange library onsite.  If there was a downside it's the multiple steps to access the apartments from the village, HOWEVER, after the 3rd night we could walk up them in one go and we are in our late 60's so maybe not so bad after all!!  Loved it!

A beautiful view was our first impression on arrival, then the lovely welcome from our host Al. The room was modern, clean, bright and well equipped - down to the lightweight, easy drying beach towels - brilliant idea! We stayed 5 nights and had a lovely stay. 
Al brought super breakfasts each morning that we enjoyed on the lovely balcony enjoying that view. I still say Kitty’s spanakopita is the best I’ve tasted - ever! 
The rooms sit above the village of Pandeli with a long staircase down the side of the property - so only 5 mins to reach the village centre, bars, supermarket and good restaurants. Not ideal for anyone with mobility difficulties but one of our favourite stays on our Greek travels and one we’d highly recommend. 

Asterias is the perfect choice for us ! Magnificent balcony views over Pantelli and the sea. In an elevated position. For us this had everything. As mentioned in other reports, not for anyone with mobility issues. We do not need tv or a washing machine but our room , no. 3, had everything else. Did I mention the sea view balcony ? Truly spectacular ! It’s 9 years since our last stay on Leros and although some of the restaurants have gone modern it’s still a very Greek island. The owners, Al & Kitty, will assist with anything you need. Would definitely choose to stay here again providing we can still cope with steps !!

Asterias is absolutely the best place to stay on Leros. The rooms, the view, the breakfast, Al and Kitty as hosts- there is nothing more you could ask for. Pandeli is a beautiful village with a great beach and many nice restaurants. You will find everything you need within walking distance from the hotel even if there are some steps to climb.

First time visiting Leros. What a pleasant surprise! Wonderful island and fantastic accommodation!
Asterias was definitely above our expectations. So cozy, clean, comfortable. There is a kitchen equipped with all you need. The veranda is great for breakfast and dinner as there is the most beautiful view on the island. The accommodation is located very close to a small beach, which is perfect for swimming or relaxing. There are very good fish restaurants as well.
The town is walking distance too. 
I highly recommend both Leros and Asterias for tourists who are looking for quiet vacation.
We hope to visit again.

I love this place. Leros was the last stop after a few island hops. This guest house is impeccably clean, nicely designed, is really chilled, has great sized rooms with lots of light. It is one of the loveliest places I have stayed in Greece. The room I had had the most incredible balcony with stunning views over the bay. I cannot recommend this place enough. Al and Kitty are brilliant hosts and very helpful and have great recommendations for the whole island.

The view is even better than in the photos. The rooms are a delight: beautifully bright, clean and spacious, with everything you need. 

But you don't really need anything because the restaurants on the sea front just below are lovely, with wonderful, reasonably-priced food and very friendly waiters. 

Al and Kitty are super friendly and helpful, organising taxis, telling us about things to do and generally being uber-hosts. 

Highly recommended.
