Our stay at ParadisoRooms in Hydra was marvelous.  The room was very close to the port, but the most important was that it was very clean, beautiful with magnificent view.  The owner Mr. Spyros was very polite and helpful with our bags. I really recommend it.

Simply awesome! Wonderful and spacious room, very quiet and so clean! Well located and Spiros (owner) is a great host! A reason to visit Hydra again!  Definitely a secret treasure Have to mention that Spyros helped us both ways with suitcases (picking up from port and on the way back/check out day).

Spiros was very kind to meet us at the port and even carry our suitcase up to the apartment. It is just 5 minute walk over some 50-60 steps from port. 

The room was beautifully furnished with a fancy bathroom , with a window looking over Hydra and a small balcony for 2 people to sit. Pure romance. Although it is few minutes away from Cafes and Restaurants it was very silent .

We didn’t use any of the kitchen things , the food is too good and affordable at Tavernas to spend any time in kitchen. There are 2 bakeries within 5 minutes walk for breakfast. 

Spiros is a great host. We loved Hydra. When we come again we will surely stay at Paradiso again.

Loved our stay at Paradiso. Our room was very spacious, beautifully decorated with stunning views. The owner Spiros is very friendly and helpful. Thank you for meeting us at the port Spiro and helping us with our luggage. The location by the way is excellent. Would happily stay here again!!

Firstly, Hydra is a gem. This hotel made it possible in a quaint and homely way.
The owners, Spyros and his wife are super friendly and warm. Was very helpful especially as I was travelling solo with an ankle injury.

It is located near to the port but after some steps, you get a spectacular view of the port and more.

Rooms are spacious cosy and clean. The bathroom was huge! Very comfy! You even get netflix!

I leave Hydra with fond memory. Thank you Spryos and missus.

Stayed in paradiso for 3 nights with my girlfriend. What a great place to stay! The owner was very hospitable and his recommendations were absolutely stunning.
Great value for money as well.
I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

So glad I found this place! Delightful decor in a well designed space. Clean! Great view from balcony. The owners are friendly. Walking distance to port.. but you must climb steps. I have traveled to many places in Greece and this space rivals most. 


Lovely little apartment with very comfortable bed and a little balcony. It is set up some steep stairs, but Spiros, the owner met us at the boat and helped with luggage and view of Hydra are worth the climb.

Lovely stay

Saw the images with the view and I was excited. The view is misleading, is just from the terrace of the owner's house. The place that he rents, is at a narrow corridor with no view at all. The room itself is refurbished inside, although the hydraulics have issues and are quite noisy. To reach the guesthouse, it has steep stairs. The price I found it not at all value for money. The owner before the booking and after forgot what price quote he has given me, at if it was random.   No reason to book there, while there are so many other options operating at much more professional and transparent standards.
