42 reviewsWe stayed here July 13 to 27 , 2016. when we booked the this hotel it was the overall look that we liked , eg the garden. We were slightly worried that none of the reviews were in English. We were the only 2 English people here, for the first few days , then another 2 English girls arrived, but we only saw them to speak to once. But that was ok, we had a lovely time here amongst the German and Russian guests, everyone said hello when we went in for breakfast or dinner. The room size was good ,plenty of wardrobe space, the bathroom was a bit small, and the shower cubicle was quite small but it was just big enough to do what you needed and you dont spend much time in the bathroom , so it was fine. The owners Tina and Flora are sisters, and spoke English very well, and made us very welcome., they run the hotel together with some help from their parents, and they all work very hard long hours. The food was very nice, but you did have to choose what you wanted a few days in advance, but we didnt find this a problem, breakfast was self service, and it consisted of cereal, rolls, always an egg dish, cake, greek yogurt and honey, fruit juices, grapefruit was the best, tea ,coffee, hot chocolate, evening meal was either soup which you helped your self to, or a starter of their choice, salad and then what ever you orderd previously, desert was always fruit ,either grapes or melon. The pool was just the right size for the hotel, plenty of space and sunbeds and umbrellas .The pool bar was set to one end with tables in the shade or under an olive tree, very pretty, the gardens were well maintained, and they had a lovely little dog named Bella, who was very friendly and loved attention, but did get told off a few times trying to sneak into the reception. It was very hot while we were there, especially humid at night ,so we did need the aircon, which you pay extra for, but to be honest was not that great, we used to push our bed right underneath it to try and keep cool.that was only downside to the hotel. We came to this hotel while our daughter and her family stayed at Rhodes Holiday Village, which we spent a day and evening at, and couldnt wait to come back to Tina Flora , where it was quiet relaxing. All the staff were friendly and worked hard , with hardly any time off. The hotel is geared more to the German and Russian market, but we didnt feel out of place. It was a short walk to the local bars and restaurants and super markets we liked the Memories bar where they had a live band on a few nights of the week, and the other bar we liked was Brillantina ,and it was cheaper in this one.We went to the beach twice , but preferd the pool. The beach is a mixture of sand and pebbles, but can be a bit awkward getting into the sea i wore little beach shoes, which was much better for walking on the pebbles, and can be worn in the sea.We went on one boat trip, with our daughter and family , and a couple of friends they had made, the boat was small only held 12 passengers, which was much better than being crammed packed on the larger boats, we paid 35 euros an adult and 25 euros a child, it took us along the coast passed a few beaches and made a couple of stops for swimming in the sea, then one last stop to the red beach which can only be reached by boat.We swam to the beach which was not quite sand but better than big pebbles, and if you looked up you could see goats sheltering from the sun in cut outs in the cliff, on very small ledges. We had a lovely holiday and would go back to Tina Flora.Thank you to all the staff , and to the ladies that served in the dinning room and at the pool bar the lady that once lived in Liverpool, and the room maids and the cook.
