Kasimis Studios

We stayed here in early August 2020, and found Giorgos to be very friendly and helpful. The room itself was comfortable with air conditioning and a good fridge, and the balcony had two chairs and a table with a nice view over the pool to the sun setting over the sea. There is on site parking. The pool was well-kept, and it was only a 3 minute stroll to the pleasant town beach (a mixture of sand and small stones, with a good beach bar/restaurant). We liked Kyparissia itself because it is primarily just a small Greek town, only partly dependent on tourists. It’s probably more suited to a few days’ stay than a long holiday. The town square is less than 10 minutes walk from Kasimis, and has a palm trees, a fountain and a few cafes where you can watch everyday Greek life. Up the hill is the old town (best to get a taxi which will cost 5 to 7 Euros each way). There you will find a ruined castle with great views (especially at sunset), and an atmospheric old street with a couple of good restaurants/tavernas. There are restaurants within easy walking distance of Kasimis (including the excellent Karnagio right next door, which was popular with Greek families when we were there). We will be back!
