Iro Apartments

We travelled independently from UK to this family owned accommodation and communicated directly with Stella by email. Our taxi transfers were arranged by her and everything was spot on. We stayed for 2 weeks in the budget studio, ground floor with small street side terrace, chairs and umbrella, the entrance is separate to the main apartments. The sun shines on the terrace only briefly in the morning but there is a lovely roof terrace for everyone in the main apartment building. A lift is located next to reception, then you walk up 1 flight of stairs to the terrace. Provided on arrival was a bottle of water, little milk portions, a few teabags, carton orange juice & bowl of mixed fruit. The fruit was replenished mid holiday by a huge delicious supply of grapes, maybe home grown? This little studio has everything you could need, for a self catering holiday, a small oven/grill, hob, microwave, a good selection of pans, plates, dishes, utensils, knives, even cling film and drinking straws! Only thing we noticed missing was oven gloves! There’s no toaster, used the grill. Mosquito repellent plug in, washing up liquid, I can honestly say I have never stayed in a more well equipped self catering accommodation. A safe and very good air conditioning was included in the overall price. The reception is only manned at certain times, maybe these times could be displayed on the door. There is contact information displayed should you need anything or in an emergency. The position was ideal for us, just around the corner from the lovely beach where 2 sunbeds and an umbrella were 5 euros and lots of lovely restaurants. It was just 12 – 15 minutes walk from the centre of the old town or harbour. Where more restaurants and shops await! There are a couple of Mini markets within 2 – 3 minutes walk and a large supermarket approx 7 minutes walk. Excellent holiday, can’t wait to come again!
