Owner Christos is very genial, and after request on booking given one of the two rooms on first floor with balconies (best ones).  
Room clean and very comfortable, basics for breakfast in fridge.  Wonderful view down over little harbour below, short walk to restaurants/good bakery/shops.   Wide path takes you up to castle in about 40mins; did this early morning and evening.   This really was a perfect place to stay for my last 2 days of a week visiting the whole island, useful to access Fiskardo (and much less touristy to stay in!).

The very best view in Assos. And the studios themselves are wonderful. Spotlessly clean and serviced daily they have everything you need (including excellent a/c) without any expensively pointless frills. A short and easy stroll down to the town for breakfast at the family bakery there makes the Romanza  just perfect. Add to this a friendly (whilst never intrusive) host and we consider it close to heaven. Oh - and by the way - the room rates are astonishingly reasonable.

Lovely room with a large balcony with one of the best views in Greece. Only minutes from the main town and the horseshoe bay. Although its described as no breakfast the hosts provided coffee,tea, hams etc and always put a homemade cake in the fridge for us. The hosts are lovely people who cannot do enough for you. Highly recommend thus hotel

We had all we need for a comfortable stay. The highlight was the view can’t be beat. We were up above all the other houses and took full advantage of this view by eating our breakfast on our porch watching the sun rise. The owners had water and fresh bread waiting for us when we arrived. Easy location to walk down to the Main Street. Great price, great service, in a great location.

We stayed in Asos on the beginning of October and couldn’t have picked for a better place. The studio was equipped with everything we needed it and Kristos and Julia were amazing hosts. I will definitely be recommending this studio to friends and family and hopefully one day we will come back. Thank you for everything guys!

stayed 1 night so didn't have to travel to far to friskcardo next day. the owners are so nice you get plenty coffee, water, butter jam and toast bread as well as homemade cake.
lovely shower and room. great view over assos. as owner say's don't drink water it's salty you can taste this as you shower. would stay here any time. if you want long term ie 2weeks there is no cooking rings if you wanted to cook but we don't. parking is not to good but we parked down road a bit on corner

Thank you again to Christos and Julia for making us so welcome. This is the perfect place to relax for a week. The view remains unbelievable, the welcome warm, everything you could want within the village and a fabulous walk to the fort each day. Looking forward to returning...again.

I booked Romanza for one night quite a few months before going to Assos. I messaged several times to see if a high floor had become available but they were all taken. On arrival early as our room wasnt ready,  we were met by Christos and Maria who proceeded to take our bags, let us put food in fridge and surprised us by remembering my request. Although a high floor still wasnt available Christos allowed us to use his high floor terrace as our own! Here we spent many hours eating lunch, pre dinner drinks and breakfast admiring the stunning views across Assos. Room was large with small kitchenette, private bathroom, air con etc. Very clean and lovely decor. Hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, informing us of places to eat and see. Maria also provided home made cake on our arrival. 2/3 minute walk down steps to centre, ideal location for views and restaurants and tavernas. Will definitely go back one day and will certainly stay at Romanza. Highly recommended

We (2 adults,1 8yr old) booked this place the day before we arrived, it turned out to be a absolutely perfect place to stay for a break. The host is a lovely couple who can’t help you enough with local knowledge and the views are amazing, the villages itself is picturesque and has everything you need for a short break.

What is there to say that others haven't already... we will never forget the unbelievable view from our upper room overlooking the bay, little village and Venetian fort or the hospitality of Christos and Julia, who are warm and lovely people. Our room was immaculate and the daily homemade cakes delightful. It was so wonderful in fact that it was hard to want to go off exploring everyday! We loved relaxing on the balcony every evening with a glass of wine, and once I was able to wave to my husband who was swimming down in the bay! Just idyllic - it was by far our favourite part of our honeymoon and we were sorry to leave.

Wish we could just move in!

We only stayed here the one night and i can not sing its praises enough!
Christos the owner is a lovely old chap he really is. He showed us to our room and said we do not offer breakfast but my wife has made fresh cake, so its in your fridge to have with your coffee in the morning. A lovely little touch I thought.
The room itself was spotlessly clean and decorated beautifully. But the highlight for me was the view across the bay from the balcony.....I could have cried...it was stunning ........
Id most certainly stay here again and give it a 10/10...just perfect
