Fantastic location for people who prefer authenticity , quiet and stunning surroundings . Beautiful garden and big swimming pool extremely clean . Most people leave during the day exploring the beautiful island so when we felt like spending a lazy afternoon at the pool we had the place all for ourselves . We were not impressed with the room we got ( basic room in the corner groundfloor) but were quite satisfied after a couple of days . A room in the shade has definitely some advantages when it's hot . Unlike someone posting the building was noisy we found it to be exceptionally quiet ( although it was fully booked ) One could say that airco and fridge made some noise but it didn't bother us. Several times we took breakfast and dinner there and it was more than ok . Despite difficult times due to covid restrictions and last minute cancellations , Eleni does a fantastic job in creating a good ambiance and is always prepared to do something extra . ( assisted by her charming daughter Alexandra ) Therefore we are grateful for the true Greek hospitality we received in Oddysey Villas and will definitely go back . We have been visiting about 20 Greek islands and Kefalonia is certainly one of the most beatiful !
