We booked a one bedroom apartment. It was spacious and nicely decorated with all the necessary amenities. Our view towards the sea was beautiful. The apartment was serviced and had all the amenities necessary including air cons and wi fi to make our stay enjoyable. We loved sitting on our verandah eating alfresco while at the same time enjoying our lovely sea view.

Kosta and his amazing wife who run the apartments couldn’t do enough for us. They are super kind people . Yes we Will definitely book again :)

WE LOVED IT !!!!!!

We had fantastic time here. The hosts were absolutely delightful. Charming and helpful. They welcomed us with complimentary local wine and honey and provided us with all the info on island we needed.
Comfortable and clean two room apartment with fully equipped kitchen,AC and big balcony with sea view. Wi-fi was good. The place has it's own covered parking.
Spartia is a village near the Argostoli and is a good starting point for exploring this great and beautiful island. The village has very good restaurant in the center near the church and few more down the road to the beach. It also has few mini-markets but also Lidl and AB supermarkets are 5 min drive away on the main road to Argostoli. Village is in the hill above the beach and has some narrow streets with lot of curves so be prepared for careful driving and navigation.
We were really impressed with this place and Kefalonia itself. Perfect place.

Great place to stay

The  couple that has the place are amazing and very hostile. The rooms were very clean every day while the spot has a nice beach and tavern near by. 

Great value for money and on a central spot to see the whole island 

Great hospitality 

We really enjoyed our stay at Pernari's apartments. It was much bigger than many apartments that we have stayed in in Greece, really nice to have the 2 rooms with nice seating area in one. Very quiet area, with nice views from the balconies. Excellent hosts who even provided deck beds and an umbrella for the beach.

Excellent place to stay

We booked at Pernari because of all the excellent reviews and we were really pleased we did. 
We couldn't have wished for better hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Wonderful people - thank you so much. 
The view from our balcony was superb (attached). The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean. 
We loved Spartia and we loved staying at Pernari Apartments.
We traveled to so many amazing places in Kefalonia and it was always nice to arrive home to our apartment. 

Excellent stay at Pernari Apartments

We had a wonderful stay at Pernari Apartments. The rooms were very tidy and clean and nothing we asked for was not catered for including beach towels and a bag I had forgotten to take with me.  Pernari is situated in the little village of Spartia which is close to the capital Argostoli of Kefalonia and yet just far enough to still have that village feel. I particularly liked the friendly goats walking past every late afternoon with their bells chiming. Spartia beach is close by which is a lovely little beach with a nice restaurant should you need to grab a drink or bite to eat and Pernari is also within walking distance to some local shops which cater for everything you may need or may have forgotten to bring.  
A very pleasant stay indeed and we will definitely be back again :)

Wonderful Stay at Pernari Apartments

We visited from England, UK in July 2016 and were treated to wonderful warm hospitality at Pernari throughout the duration of our stay. Hosts Kosta and Eunicia were outstanding! 

The apartments were truly great, just a stones through away from the beach and with all the amenities you need for a good family getaway. 

From this wonderful base in Spartia we were able to explore this dynamic island of Kefalonia with its beautiful beaches and coastline and we will be back next year for more of the same. 

A great place to visit with the kids. We all had a fantastic time.

Beautiful relaxing holiday apartments 

What an amazing treat. Pernari apartments were outstanding. Fantastic sea views from our balcony. The rooms were really well kept and in good working order. The kitchen was fully stocked. The bathrooms were more than good enough. Kosta the man who ran the apartments was friendly beyond measure. He runs a good ship and this can be seen by the excellent services and cleanliness of the apartments. Thank you for making our holiday truly special. Amazing vacation

We stayed in Pernari apartments during our stay in Spartia, Kefalonia. 
The apartments are EXTREMELY good value for money, provided the perfect base with a kitchen area, decent hot shower, living area, comfortable bedrooms and a gorgeous balcony with stunning views over the ocean and greenery. The apartment was very clean and was ideal for a self- catering trip. There is a small supermarket just up the hill that provides all your basics and if you hire a car, there is a bigger supermarket only 10 mins away.
There are some lovely restaurants in the village, our favourite was the small family run restaurant right next to the mini market where the food was delicious and very authentic. The hotel at the beach on the left hand side of the road also served great food.
The village is idyllic, the perfect place to escape and get away from it all. There is a stunning beach a short drive or 15 min walk away ( if walking, you'll get a great workout when you walk back as its nearly all uphill) The beach itself has a beautiful backdrop of the mountain and the ocean is perfectly clear and was quiet and private, this was our favourite spot to relax and swim each day and really is one of the nicest most secluded beaches we've ever been to.
The village is filled with flowers and plants and provides an amazing smell everywhere you go. 

It's worth visiting the cafe/restaurant located next to the forte/castle at the top of the mountain which served amazing home cooked food and fantastic service.

While staying in the village, you can visit Agostoli which is about 15 mins drive away for shopping, coffee, lunch, dinner and to see the local turtles who make an appearance in the harbour area. There's also a small fruit market to stock up on local fruit and veg. The local fruit is worth a mention as it tastes incredible.

The highlight of our trip was the amazing hospitality and generosity shown by the apartment owners Nicholas and Fofo who showed us around the island and made our stay so welcoming with a great introduction into Greek culture and family life on the island.
We had an amazing time and it was the perfect place to relax, unwind, enjoy the stunning views, eat incredible food and enjoy Greek culture. Highly recommended.
