Didn’t stay at these apartments but stayed locally and used the pool, which was clean. Never a problem getting sun beds. Bar serves drinks and a limited number if snsxks toasties and chips. Drink orders very slow and things often forgotten. Infact they will even argue with you over the forgotten items ! Very young girl left in charge but has a fair amount to say for herself when challenged.

Nice pool

What a nice restaurant! The waiters were super friendly, the food was amazing and the portion sizes were good. Also the place was clean. I had a cappucino, which was well made and we were offered a free desert. We would definitely recommend going there!

Horrendous!!!! Holiday from hell!!!!
Bed bugs. Infested room!!!! Bed linen changed daily for a reason and that was due to the bed bugs smeared on bed sheets. Room was changed eventually to find a soiled nappy behind bed cabinet. Hotel Manager not very sympathetic. Husband took reaction to bites and ended up on steroids and antibiotics. Tui rep out of depth. Visited 2018. Still waiting on Tui responding to complaint.......

not bad for what we paid  not far from main drag 10 or 15 mins cleaners did a good job staff ok  nice pool area the only problem we had was the bar  not very  welcoming could do to be a bit more going on no pool table no dart board a bit drab we did eat in there once nothing special beer 3 euros fifty  a pint well nearly a pint but having said if price was right id go back

good value

Situated a short walk away from the centre of Alykes, we found this place ideally situated. The staff were always friendly and the little ginger cat and his friend (we named Thomas and Gerry) made the place feel like home. I've read complaints about dogs barking, and although we at times could hear them, it never became an issue. It's a rural setting so there will be animals making noise but I think it's nice to hear the cockrels (spelt wrong I think) in the morning, and I don't think you'll find anywhere else in Alykes, apart from actually beach front places, where you won't hear the chickens  in a morning cause they're every where.

Spent a week here mid September wish we'd booked for 2. We had a studio for 2 it was basic but clean. Towels changed every other day, bed changed 3 times, room cleaned every day. All staff friendly, helpful and approachable. Prices reasonable. Pool and area lovely and clean. Lovely food. It's no more than a 10min stroll to the main strip and beach. There's a couple of restaurants on the way (Koukounari Taverna being the first one you come to, does the most amazing Greek food) and the Iris Bar has everything, live acts, all the sports and the most amazing lethal cocktails!
Alykes is small but has enough for everyone, has some amazing restaurants and a couple of great bars and has a wonderful beach.

If you give this place a good review all I can say is you dont now what a good hotel is like. I can sum it up in three words, Unsafe. Uncomfortable. Smelly. I think that Tui are sick of the complaints and it wont be long before they stop using this place.

My Honest Opinion

The owner gives you the keys and room number and that's it you find your own way to the room. Room is okay bed linen changed every few days also towels by. Our fridge didn't work we told the owner she wasn't interested so my partner defrosted it and cleaned it and then it worked fine. Telly didn't work but we didn't mind as we had our tablets. I bought some washing up liquid which then disappeared from our room, mentioned it to the owner she said she would ask the cleaners in the morning. Of course she didn't and guess, what I seen it next day in the cleaners bucket. So I took it back and locked it up along with all our property as I thought if anything else goes missing there is no redress. Room vacation is 10am I thought that was very early. Couldn't use the pool as topless sunbathing wasn't allowed and the music was very loud the thump thump sort so you couldn't read. Reception needs a good tidy up. Alykes is lovely, nice restaurants and bars. Iris bar is good for a quiz. 

No frills 

Basic room, no frills, a bit tired to be honest, however, it was very clean and cleaned daily. Average Greek standard. We had a ground floor room which was fine, but we wondered if a higher up room would have more of a view and a breeze? Tried to manage without air con but relented on third night. Pretty essential for a good sleep! Only €6pn. Run by a nice friendly family. The walk to town is easy, just 10 min, and an excellent taverna just along the road. 

Alykes is a pleasant little place with a few bars, tavernas, shops etc and a nice beach. Very relaxed escape.

Towards the end of our holiday we struggled to get sun beds due to people reserving them and then not turning up to use them for hours. Funnily enough these same people then went on to drink own drinks and bring own snacks etc pretty unfair on owners. Pool was clean.
